I did some research on the invention process and eventually discovered InventHelp. I looked deeper into InventHelp and realized they guide you through the process entirely. So I called for more information.

I was amazed with the level of competence and knowledge the representative had. He was also patient when answering my questions. I wasn't confident in pursuing the invention process before, but after speaking with the representative, now I think I'm prepared to go for it full steam.
