Would be rather weary of the firm. I consulted for business formation with Brown. Unimpressed with his communication and knowledge. Could have just been him on an off day but I am not sure the firm actually knows what it is doing. Skeptical of the billing practices here as well.

It seems that this firm is really several firms masquerading as one, with several corporate names all doing business from the same office, with the same staff members working for multiple companies. I cannot see how they can commit to clients. Also, the multiple companies seems like they are a flight risk.

I wasn't impressed and would stay away.

On a side note, the receptionist seemed rather nice. So that's a small plus.

I had called Newpoint law group to check to see if they provided notary services. I have used them before and know that they do, but decided to call to check. They initially said yes and I made an appointment for Monday August 6th. After going through the forms to be notarized, I learnt that I also needed the use of a finger print pad to complete the form and called back to ensure that they had this. They said that they believe they did and put me on hold while they checked. After what was a long wait, they came back to let me know that their notary was going to be out of the office on the 6th. I tried scheduling for later that week and they gave me a wishy washy answer that their notary was going to be in court all week. It is my opinion with respect to how this was handled, that they probably decided that they did not want my business or that this notary job was too complicated for them and they wanted no part of it. They did provide a number of someone else that I could contact to meet my needs, but how they handled this particular situation was poor.
