Terrible never answer phone never calls back says she will do something, never gets done how she stays in business probably by taking ppls money then call in sick

My father passed unexpectedly. As his personal representative, I needed some advice and coaching. I thought this was a great firm, because of the other ratings and reviews. I've called twice just to setup up a consultation. Both times I've called, I was assured I would get a call back. It's going on a month and I received nothing.

In a time of need and mourning, this is when I needed assistance the most. How can I count on someone when I can't even get a response for a consultation.

When it comes to rating a professional service. I don't do simple reviews. I do testimonials. So bear with me on this.

Nothing worse in ones life than a sudden unexpected breakup after a long-term relationship. Well maybe there is something worse if you own property together (but not married). After you get over the initial period of emotional devastation you begin to panic about the financial aspect when your partner leaves you with all the bills. Up until this point you basically shared the bills. Now your ex wants their share of equity in the home, the co-owned SUV which you put the down payment on, one of the family pets, part of the furniture, etc.

These circumstances overwhelmed my life a few years ago. Through a friend's recommendation, I decided to consult with Anna Starkey and the doom and gloom began to lift from my shoulders. She immediately put my mind at ease and brought my situation into focus for me. Anna's empathy and assurance that I still had control over my life and that I could take my time in figuring out what I wanted to do with this crisis gave me a sense of relief. Despite constant, daily pressure from my ex to refinance the house and complete the financial settlement overnight; Anna assured me to take my time. She advised that since there was no marriage I did not have to do anything until I was ready. By putting it in those terms, Anna actually gave me back a sense of control over the situation. When I was ready to make my offer, she drafted the legal documents and we met with my ex to finalize the agreement/settlement and to mediate any final issues. As she left the conference room to allow us time to read and discuss the agreement and to discuss any disagreements, Anna so wisely asked us "Are you guys both OK?" She was making sure we were both in a civil/calm state of mind before she left us alone. That shows Anna's true concern for the wellbeing of her clients.
Anna was key in helping me make the best of an emotional and financially devastating situation and I will never forget her concern and compassion for me. That's why I give her a five star rating.....as an attorney and as a person.
