As easy as it gets. She literally took care of everything and she was patient since this was my first time and I'm not familiar with how it works. Keep up the good work. I'll come to you if I speed again!

I’m a 38 year old with a criminal background, changed my life and still found myself looking at an enhanced class X felony. Cheryl really turned that around for me and my family. My praises go to God, My thanks go to Attorney Whitley. She keeps her word, and fights for her clients. Keeps your best interest at heart and tells it straight NO GAMES!!!!! In short, facing a total of 160 years with the minimum at 30 years, She turned that into no prison time, 4 years probation..... She’s Amazing, fair pricing, and she’s well respected in court!!!!! Whole-Heartedly Recommended!!!!!!!!

Ms Whitley is an amazing lawyer. At first I was up in the air being that this was the first issue I was involved in but after speaking with her and learning what she had and was doing. I soon learned to believe and trust in her. She was on time, on point and was very professional. I’ll refer her to anybody! She’s highly educated, highly professional, highly experienced and very understanding.

Cheryl was hired to represent my children's father in a case where he was accused of shooting someone at a party. Because he was incarcerated, his mother and myself paid for Cheryl' s services. Cheryl was hired for the case in July and it went on until January. During those 6 months Cheryl was on the case, he seen Cheryl 4 times- the 4 times he went to court. Cheryl was given a list of witnesses that attended the party. After two of them contacted me to ask what was the status of the case and I discovered she hadn't tried to contact them, I called Cheryl and asked her why. Cheryl became very upset that I had questioned her about the way she was handling the case and accused me of being hostile and ended the call. After ending the call, she called his mother to tell her about the exchange we had over the phone, which was unprofessional and pointless. Cheryl urged my children's father to take a plea of 19 years.
She was paid to defend him but never actually intended to defend him. He refused to take the plea and only then did Cheryl contact the witnesses...3 days before the scheduled trial. Luckily the case was dropped because there was no evidence nor witnesses to support the charges. I would not recommend hiring Cheryl.

In response to your reply, I'm upset at your performance. The case was dismissed due to lack of evidence. NOT because you're a good defense attorney. You came into the case bias because of the other case. Hence, the reason you bought it up. You're once again, showing your lack of professionalism. Being his paid attorney, you knew that was coming and said nothing. I'm upset because I'm unsure of what I paid for and at the fact you're unable to answer a simple question without becoming defensive and hostile and pretending as if I'm being unreasonable. Would you care to comment on why you were fired by 3 clients for the same lack of urgency and failure to perform the duties you were hired to perform? Probably not. He wrote you a letter, signed it and told you in person that you could discuss certain things with me. So there was no client/attorney privileges being violated. That was/ is your favorite answer when you're questioned about questionable actions on your part.

No one wants to get a call stating that their loved one has been arrested but when this happened Ms. Whitley was the one and only phone call we made. Attorney Whitley handled our case with such compassion and efficiency that it made a horrible experience bearable. Thank you for the energy you put into getting the charges dropped and for handling this delicate situation with such professionalism. We are eternally grateful for the service you provided. Thank you!

Hired her to dispose of a simple speeding ticket in Illinois since I am an out of state resident and didn't want to have to attend court to rid myself of any penalty points. She immediately took advantage of my situation and charged me $150 for her "services". Prior to hiring her I called the prosecutor and asked what it would take to dispose of the ticket and I was given the following sanction: 90 days of driving supervision and a $350 fine. Cheryl contacted me after she claimed to have attended court on my behalf with the exact same sanction of 90 days of driving supervision and a $350 fine. I then asked what was the poin Of hiring her and she avoided my question and claimed she wanted to keep my fine as little as possible. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMER. SCAM SCAM SCAM.
