They can “Rush Service” at a location without your authorization for $150.
Then serve You with the bill for the added fees and you have 21 days to pay it.
Nobody explains this to you. Their website doesn’t have this information either. I also called and asked about the process and I didn’t get the information I know now when it’s over.
And the information you get from the court for how much it will cost is minimal. The officers and legal advisors tell you to give the Process Servers and much detail and addresses as you can... but nobody tells you until it’s over that more details = more $$$
You’re basically in the dark with the process until it’s over with a big bill. It’s kind of taking advantage of frightened people in distress just calling the number the court tells them to call and Pro Serve can do what they want with you because you don’t understand what’s going on during a time of crisis.
- which is illegal to enforce a contract when someone doesn’t have a clear state of mind.
Tried calling and explaining to Kathy and didn’t get anywhere.
The whole process takes advantage of you.
