Worst experience ever with these people (first review good/bad on here) I had previously interacted with Mel briefly about a month ago. I explained my case and filled my paperwork etc. At the time, Aaron Frost was on vacation so I didn’t meet him until much later on. Mel told me to give her a call in about a week and that she would take charge of the case if Frost was unavailable. Sure enough I call the day of to check but no progress. My paperwork still showed me having a public defender instead of being represented by them. Someone had dropped the ball either at the firm or clerk’s office(strike 1) Confused I asked Mel when I could meet with Frost personally to discuss about my case. She rudely interrupts me to only say give her a call next week and hangs up(strike 2). My hearing is in 2 weeks and I still haven’t even spoken to my lawyer? Angry I go pay them a visit and guess who I see outside the office? Frost and Mel smoking upfront smh(strike 3). I go in and ask for my money back. They refuse saying they can’t because they need a form stating that I would be replacing them with another attorney(I’m paraphrasing I don’t know the jargon). Infuriated, I leave and go to the clerks office and inquire about this form. They give me the run around and tell me they’re not even on my case. I come back and get the run around AGAIN. Frost kept saying to tell him who was representing me and I told the inept SOB that it don’t concern him. It got so bad I had to literally go next door to another attorney and ask if he could “take” my case so I can get refunded. The fat bald guy across the plaza could give a rats a** about me or my case. His main concern was how I was going to pay him. Don’t go to that guy either. They lock and close their office while I’m dealing with this guy but these knuckleheads are still in the back smoking, so I walk around and press them. Frost tries apologizing but all that was just agitating me more. Anyway Frost had the audacity to write me a refund check and walk his sleezy-self to the other guy’s office to make sure he was “overseeing” me. He stood 5-10 minutes waiting until the big guy shows up. We go back and forth and the low life threatened to charge me more. Finally he hands me my check. I bounce the second I got it. Don’t go to Mel and Frost or Joseph T Brown. Unprofessional, rude, and money driven. They don’t care about you at all. I wish I was making this up but it really happened smfh. I will be taking my business elsewhere (Lou Brooks Manassas✌ ) and advise all of you to do the same.

Eugene Frost IS the attorney to hire. He did precisely what he said. If you are facing a felony or serious misdemeanor, retain Mr. Frost. Saw him plea my son's class 5 felony to a misdemeanor and have other misdemeanors not prosecuted. Exactly what he said he'd work. Don't go into court without Mr. Frost at your side.

The word in Fredericksburg is Frost is the very best lawyer around. When you desperately need legal help..you want the best but are always reluctant to believe the stories, to actually trust someone else with your fate. It was the stories of how amazing he was that brought me to him. I am here to tell you Frost really is the very best around. THIS MAN KNOWS THE LAW. Not only is he intelligent and very confident, he also has a great personality and very humorous. He puts you at ease and when he gets into the courtroom he truly fights for you. I have hired him twice for two of my family members and he hasn't let us down. So if you are looking for a lawyer..don't second guess your decision and just hire Frost!

I honestly do NOT know how this office has received a 4.8 out of 5. The staff is VERY unprofessional! Mell and Frost are very arrogant and seem to not really care. They wait until the last minute in the court room to figure out what it is thats going on. We hired Frost and he had not ONCE gone and see my brother ( his client) while he was incarcerated. He hardly took any of the calls from him. My brother was clueless as to what the possibilities were at EVERY court hearing! He does pull through when it came to sentencing and he tries to work it out BUT if your looking for someone that can communicate and keep you up to date on the details, then this office is not the one!!! Dont waste your money!

Pretty cool guys. Was able to deliver on the terms I needed to move on with my life. If you're stuck in a position where you need a lawyer he is definitely someone you should consult.

I would highly NOT recommend Mell and Frost to be your lawyer. Neither of them cared about my case or me. Don't waste your money like me and my mom did. In the beginning Mr. Frost sure did put on a great show and acted like he could help us. Don't let him or the rest of his team fool you like they fooled us. They will take your money and not do a good job.

From my past, I had Mr. Mell. He did an awesome job.

Frost was an appointed attorney for my daughter in 2013. He insisted on my daughter taking a plea deal on her case and skip going to trial. My daughter had never been in trouble a day in her life prior to this case. Frost convinced her to plead guilty to 2 charges with a total of 4 years in prison suspended and 10 years of supervised probation with the acceptance that both charges and probation be felony conviction. The day of the plea deal Frost didn't even show up for court or have an attorney in his place who knew anything about the case. This is worse lawyer you could have appointed to a child who had never been in trouble. Thanks to Frost my daughter can not attend any college that is decent, can not get any federal funds to pay for college, get any job that requires a background check, basically Frost has insured my daughters life was over before it she ever got the chance to experience it. If this attorney has been appointed to you be cautious research your options for hiring an attorney or at least the guidelines for sentencing on your case. Frost didn't even attempt to offer my daughter the diversion program which she was eligible for since this was her first offense. Stay away from this lawyer at all costs.

Eugene Frost is the name of your next lawyer. So professional, honest, wise, he does a clean job and he kills it in the courtroom every time! You will be more than satisfied with his work. This man is a truly genius. Definitely a lawyer that you MUST have.

Best lawyer I've ever had!! Forget that negative feedback from JH, he doesn't know what he is talking about. Frost and his office are truly sincere about the people they represent.
