Mark represented my husband as a criminal defense attorney and it was an awful experience. He was not upfront with how the sentencing could go. He was very difficult to reach by phone - if you call and leave a message, he wouldn't call back and instead would send a letter in the mail; poor communication. Also very unprofessional as my husband was trying to explain something to him and Mark raised his voice and cursed at him. During the sentencing, it seemed as if he was acting as a prosecuting attorney rather than in his client's best interest - my husband did 2 out of 3 of the requirements in the plea deal prior to sentencing so that he could get unsupervised probation which is less expensive. He was in the process on working on the last requirement but it hadn't been finished yet. Mark checked the box for 6 months supervised probation vs. supervised until all requirements met which is going to cost us more money. Also, after the sentencing, the judge moved onto the next defendent and then stopped mid-sentence to ask the attorney WE PAID FOR if he was sure he didn't want to double the hours of community service! It definetly felt like something fishy was going on at that point. We really wanted to switch representation after the unprofessional communication, but he was already mostly paid for so we felt stuck.
