Had King George Mobile Repair come out to the house to replace a belt on my riding lawn mower approximately a month and a half ago. Owner sent his teenage son, which he honestly did a fine job and mower worked immediately after, so no complaints.

Fast forward a month and a half and I'm having the exact same issue. My blades won't engage as the belt either broke or slipped off its bearings. I called and left a message twice explaining the situation. NO CALL back. Not even a courtesy call to say "too bad" we offer no warranty. Though I'd have a hard time believing they wouldn't warranty a belt for a month and a half.

Needless to say, I'm disappointed. They charged me $135 just to show up at my house, and after it was all said and done $178. I'd figure for that kind of money, and knowing the job took less than an hour, they'd at least contact me back with an explanation. I would gladly change this to a positive review if they reached out to me. Oh well...proceed with caution.

It's tough to find someone who will come to the house for repair. I needed riding mower repair at my house and he knew his stuff. Be mindful that he can run late during the busy summer season; he forgot about one appointment, which was frustrating. He was apologetic and is definitely competent for the repair, so perhaps a reminder confirmation call to him the day before would be helpful, just so there is no confusion. I will use him again when I need future repair, and have recommended him to a friend.

I highly recommend this service. Not only are they fair but they go above and beyond.

The ONLY place and people I'll let work on my machinery! This is the guy who sold, delivered, and worked on it when I got it from the company, and now that he's on his own, he still remembers every repair he's done to the machine.
Friendly, prompt, realistic in arrival time, repair estimates, finish time, and pricing. Great work, great people, and totally trustworthy. No gouging in price, no extra work done if it doesn't need it and they'll warn you of upcoming repairs that will be needed "soon" without the pressure sale.
