Excellent egg rolls & crab Rangoon; very fresh & tasty, especially Korean-style plates; longish waits but worth it; limited seating ("carry out" is a part of the name after all); lo mein noodles are not particularly authentic (just linquine-type pasta) but dishes still taste very good. Limited hours (closes at 1800) so plan accordingly; owner very nice and helpful.

Amazing food!!! Amazing prices!! You can't go wrong with Chongs! The food is all handmade from the crab rangoon to the awesome egg rolls. The prices are fantastic and you definitely get enough food to eat on for a couple of days. There are a couple of tables if you would like to eat in but about 95% of the business is carry out. We are lucky enough to live close but people from all over the area drive to Chongs for the excellent food.

Best chinese place in Southern Illinois. The owner is super friendly, her food portions are HUGE, and the price is great too! I've been going here for years. You won't be disappointed with anything ordered, but highly recommend your first time here to get an order of egg rolls and crab ran goon. You won't find any egg rolls or crab better than hers! Chicken fried rice is another favorite. Yum!

Oh man, where to start. Not your typical Chinese take out. The general Tsaos chicken is so good. The tempura batter isn't the usual flavor. It's almost a funnel cake flavor to add sweetness to the subtle spice of the sauce. The egg rolls and crab Rangoon are huge, and quite honestly the best I've had in So. IL. I suggest ordering early, as the wait can be a little lengthy, but we'll worth it.
