I own and operate a lawncare business and have done so for about 15 years. I took a Hustler Mini Z to Hales for a transmission rebuild because it was leaking fluid and would not stay in park. Hales charged me $1500 and the mower is leaking fluid again with less than 100 hours on it. Also, I found out that the parking brake simply needed adjustments to stay in park and was not related to the transmission. They did not bother to adjust the brake and the mower rolled all over the trailer when I got it home. Service was not friendly either. I would highly recommend going to Stuckys about ten minutes west. They treated me great and also gave me priority when a wiring harness went bad in the middle of jobs.

Rick has always taken care of us when we need to bring in one of our customer's pressure washer for engine extensive repair. We highly recommend Hale's Sales & Service for any of you engine and/or mower needs. Great people & service!

I bought a “new” mower here in 2019 and found out it is a 2016 mower that had bad gas and a ruined carburetor. These guys are crooks and very dishonest. Run away

I'm very disappointed in the service I received there. I requested to have a three way fuel valve replaced, and my blades sharpened, and a few other items replaced. When I got my mower back I found out just by looking at it that they had replaced the three way fuel valve with a used one instead of a new one (my original still had a bright red handle. This one has a faded dull pink appearance. Like how stuff looks when it's been sitting out in the weather too long). Oh, but they still charged me the new part price.
They also didn't sharpen the blades for me because the mechanic thought they were too worn. What? Upon closer inspection the part that is worn on the blades is the cutting edge, thus the reason that they needed to be sharpened. I think they were too lazy to do it and just wanted to move my mower through their shop as fast as they could.
Don't come here if you want good service!!!!!

Felt that one of staff that handles stock was rude when I genuinely didn’t know anything about hustler clutches. Maybe it wasn’t intentional but I rubbed me the wrong way. However the rest of the staff was polite and patient with my ignorance.
Edit: had my issue resolved. It was just due to a misunderstanding on both our parts so no hard feelings.

Only place to take your mower very fast turnaround.

They worked with us to purchase our new mower, then delivered it. The delivery driver went over everything with me so that i was comfortable operating the new mower! Definitely recommend! Thank you so much - WE (I) love our new mower!!

No call for approval on additional services that were applied. Overall quality of the service for the repairs was fine. But be prepared to pay extra.

Very pleased! We started using Hale's last year for a push mower and a rider needing repairs and general maintenance. They picked them up and returned them.
My old John Deere rider was neglected and generally difficult, so it was a pain to get loaded onto a trailer. The gentleman that came was very patient.

Hale's had the mowers back to me very quickly and came in just about at the estimate, if a little lower. Very happy and will be using them again this year when needed. I couldn't have asked for more.

I have used numerous Mower people for a hustler 4600 commercial mower and a sears ride on dsg6500 and Hales by a huge margin has been the best I've used. ( i made the mistake of using someone in wichita that under estimated and way overcharged and threatened to take the parts off if i wanted to complain about the price) Hales on the other hand, picked up my mower and told me a price for service that seemed fair, when i got it back i was surprised to find that they came in at $100 lower then their estimate. Good Service ,Friendly people ( although when they are rushed , they can be a bit abrupt , but can't we all) Worth the drive to take your unit there, Highly Recommend.

I highly recommend Hale's Sales and Service!! Instead of hearing "We're 5 weeks behind" like a lot of other shops say, they said "Bring it on out and we'll work it in" 4 days later my mower is fixed and at a reasonable price. A little drive for me but well worth it. I even had an old gas golf cart that I thought was on it's last legs and Hale's was able to fix it too. Keep up the good work Hale's.
