I used Euan and Smart Probate to handle my Mom's affairs. She lived a long life and had few possessions at the time she passed. She had some financial assets but the whole thing was very simple. No debts, just a few end of life bills and a simple split between my sister and I.
The Smart Probate system was very organized and he knew each step along the way. It is far more complex that the books made it seem. I do feel the court system was not helpful, and several times seemed to me to be obstructing my efforts. For instance when I forgot to sent a SASE, they would place my letter in the dead letter file, couldn't be bothered to let me know, even though they had all my contact info right in front, and later when I called and asked questions, they said they were not my lawyer and were of no help.
