Carolyn Cain is a menace to the legal system. She is dishonest, prejudicial and a threat to the innocent children and infants she is appointed to represent by the court. Her wreckless disregard toward sensitive timelines for cases involving infants and children should have her disbarred. She is anti parent, anti reunification and does NOT conduct herself according to the California State Bars guidelines for professional conduct or ethics. She submitted over a hundred requests for judicial notice in the trial over the termination of my parental rights and worked directly with an opposing party's attorney.
As a court appointed attorney for a minor this is a blatant violation of her duties.
She verbally threatened my attorney with sanctions in the courtroom in front of a judge. At the conclusion of the trial she went after myself, my child's father and my child's estate for $197,000. dollars in legal fees she believed she was owed ON TOP of what she was already receiving from the county.
My child was 3 months old when this matter was brought before the court...when all was said and done she was 6 years old. She filed unnecessary petitions throughout those six years to do everything in her power to make me out to be an unfit parent despite zero evidence of abuse or neglect, no criminal record...nothing. She wrote the judges final ruling and flat out lied saying that a court examiner was a court investigator and went on to describe her as having her own office as such. This attorney has absolutely no regard for the truth and is allowed to get away with victimizing families and children with no consequences whatsoever. She needs to be disbarred or in the very least disciplined for her misconduct.
No parent should have to face the kind of a legal abuse and harassment that Corolyn Cain unleashes upon innocent families. The system was not set up for this kind of personal, relentless attack and this attorney clearly has issues.
Do some research and choose an attorney with sincerity and integrity. I didn't have a choice.
