This is as real a review as they come. Okay FIRST of all you are not seeing many reviews here because they changed locations and reviews are location based on the sites. SECONDLY, our family has been dealt its fair share of tragedy and then some. As such we needed representation pronto and my Father happened across Clancy & Diaz, LLP and after one conversation with Pete he knew he had the right guy.
Look, I know that in this day and age it is extremely daunting and difficult to know when you can trust someone for a service especially something as intimate as personal injury. I am not being paid for this review, if anything its actually taking time away from my psychotically hectic schedule just to write this BUT I knew I had to sign in to tell you with no exaggeration that Pete Clancy is amazing. Quite frankly, words fail to truly capture the weight of an attorney like Pete. To put it plain... he cares. Those two words are the conduit that shapes the entire experience with Clancy & Diaz. Pete Clancy genuinely cares about each and every client that crosses his path. Lets not be daft here, yes he is a businessman but while you are in business with this man he never lets his business blind his humanity. He truly cares. My family grew up poor. I have no shame saying that because we are a hard working bunch that were always blessed to be able to work for at the very least our basic needs. These days we aren't exactly poverty level but we are that awesome tax bracket that lives paycheck to paycheck and can easily be thrown into homelessness by the slightest wind blow. I know this is about Pete not about me, BUT I say ALL THAT to say this, you would have never known our income bracket based on the way we were treated by Pete Clancy. He catered to our family as if we were the 1% even though we are clearly the lower end of the 99%. He did the things he was NOT paid to do, he called on days we weren't scheduled to communicate just to see if we were handling the wait time well. Pete got to know our family and shared in the personal stories about each of us. Pete looked us in our eyes when delivering any news related to our case even things that were potentially hurtful. He was always straight-forward, always honest, always sincere. Our case took an interesting turn and we needed co-counsel, he made sure we had the best. Our case dealt with an untimely tragic death in our family and all the while my mother and brother were both dealing with cancer. Pete took special concerns in our family because he knew the situations surrounding our case. We felt like more than clients, we felt like Pete was our friend, not an associate, not a client/attorney, but a friend, a friend who happened to be our kickass attorney.

Pete and his team were really great. I took a year to decide to sue. One year remained on the clock to file a suit for my motorcycle - car accident. The police report was non-committal on fault despite three witnesses whose statements matched mine. I used my legal benefits program at work. Read some reviews and testimonials on Pete's site and decided to give him a try. I sent an email through their online form at 4:11pm on a Monday. (I'm looking at the email as I write this.) Pete responded at 4:17! Obviously he wasn't with a client at the time. By 4:30 I had left a message with the office to schedule an appointment per his instructions

The next morning, at 9:07, Vanessa asked the office and me via email, if anyone had responded to me. They are really responsive and on top of things. She then saw my voice message. Pete and I talked briefly on the phone and I scheduled a face-to-face, as he prefers that. We met in two days.

Pete was friendly, helpful, clear. He struck me as honest and competent. He laid out the possibilities. He did not over-promise.

We were in contact on months 1, 4, 5 ,6, 10, and 12. Pete advised patience and I did my best to just let him and his office do the case in their time and style.
