I have known Mr. Youngling as a professional attorney for over 20 years. He has advised me on homeowner association law and related topics throughout that time. Glenn is one of the most knowledgeable attorneys I know on the matters of Davis-Stirling, reviewing and advising on association documents and policies/practices, advising and assisting in mediation and arbitration processes, as well as legal representation in local and state courts. Mr. Youngling and his colleagues have consistently provided me and my association boards with robust legal services and advice at more than a reasonable price. He is intelligent, ethical, and well-informed on both the law and the dynamics of associations and their governance structure. He stays current on the changing laws within the state regarding homeowners’ associations. He works diligently to represent his clients and to avoid court if at all possible, and never fails to protect his client’s best interests while at the same time providing a realistic assessment of the situation and resulting options. He works with his clients as partners and always tries to understand and achieve the goal desired by his clients in each legal matter.
I highly recommend Glenn H. Youngling as a law firm for any issues associated with homeowner associations, contract review, parliamentary procedures, and related matters.

Mr. Youngling has represented many of our clients and we appreciate his knowledge and professionalism very much. His office has assisted our communities with increasing general knowledge through public speaking and board education, handling or assisting with challenging communication, and the revision and updating of governing documents and policies. We are appreciative of his dedication to his clients and of the positive effect he has had on our local community.

Glenn Youngling, attorney, and Anna Kates, paralegal, have committed fraud and unethical conduct. Disiplinary action has been filed against them with the Ca State Bar Association. They have illegally charged me $325.05 for unsubstantiated legal fees for services never rendered. My lender requested a one sentence letter confirming my HOA dues. Anna Kates refused to write the letter and then charged me for a letter she never wrote. I asked her to produce a copy of the letter and a log of the date, time and hours she spent researching this. None was produced. I send my $601 HOA dues to them every month so there was nothing to research. I initially contacted Brenda Doogan of Steward Property Services who represents Marin Lagoon HOA. She requested I contact Glenn Youngling to write the letter who is their attorney. A lien has been placed on my house for the $325.05. After repeated efforts via email since November 2017 I have not heard back from Glenn Youngling or Anna Kates to correct their error.
