The upside of entrepreneurship is that when something goes wrong, you have only yourself to blame. So you slap your forehead, use an expletive to address yourself, and then you move on. This particular retail business had thrived for almost three decades. Then one day, the building next door was sold to an off-shore developer who tore it down and commenced building a six-story, 112 unit condominium that towered over us.
