You really have to visit this place to get the thrill of it....homemade fudge, handscooped ice cream, frappes, total deliciousness!! Ample parking, wheelchair accessible. Located on a town square near other restaurants.....the smell of onion rings will lure you on around.

This place use to be a great place to visit, but has went down hill in the past few years. We literally just threw away 10.00 worth of ice cream because it tasted soured. Never again.

This is one of the best ever places for sn old fashion icecream shop! Add cookies and a thousand flavors of fudge, and throw out the diet! You only live once!

We had the "Turtle" Apple. It was too good! A Granny Smith Apple covered in white and dark chocolate with pecans and caramel. They cut the apple into pieces so we could share.
The fudge here is perfect and they have many wonderful flavors. The only problem is choosing a favor!!

We stumbled upon this gem while visiting family in Kentucky. My only disappointment is that I hadn't found it sooner. There are so many goodies to choose from that i had to get multiple bars of fudge. The shop is small but definitely roomy enough to allow you time to look around and browse the multiple sweets available. To anyone visiting the area, I would highly recommend stopping in! We'll definitely add The Sweet Shoppe to our list of traditions when we visit Kentucky again.

Awesome fudge bought bourbon fudge at friendly local antique store in Cave City. We texted sweet shop to ask about alcohol content Saturday and surprised to get immediate real reply! Would recommend definitely on quality, taste and friendly texters too!! Loved it! Michigan tourists.

Chocolate bourbon fudge

Use to love coming here but not much any more, The ice-cream and fudge, well - all the sweets are GREAT! tonight I walked in to get ice-cream with my son and was instantly surrounded by smoke.. a bunch of kids were inside vaping.. DISGUSTING, walked in and walked right back out..tonight was the last time i'll be here for a long while anyways. The kid that works to-close seems to attract the wrong crowd.. a couple months ago I went to get ice cream and the kid that was working tonight had a bunch of his buddy down there playing LOUD music and threw bottles into the streets... I guess if you want to go here i'd recommend going here in the morning times.. at least then him and his buddies ain't around...

Try to go there weekly for ice cream, fudge is great there too. Always friendly and helpful employees. Caution, very addictive
