Family owned business dedicated to making their customers happy. I encountered a problem recently with some repair work they did. Turned out the repairs involved defective parts that could only be discovered after my tractor and mower were operated. As soon as I brought the problem to their attention they promptly picked up the tractor, replaced the parts and returned to me at no charge. The owner called me on the phone and fully explained the problem and apologized for the inconvenience. I will definitely continue to do business with these folks.

I brought an older mower in because something was wrong with the trans axle. They took 2.5 weeks to call and tell me that something was wrong with the trans axle, pretty much what I had told them. They didn’t open it up or anything, I’m guessing because it was older and they felt it not worth their time. So they charged me $42 to tell me that it’s broken and to fix it would cost $1400.
I was later able to fix it my garage with minimal tools, $50 in parts and a few YouTube videos. This place is a scam.

V.I.C.E Bad phone-etiquette and when I got to the store the guy was very disrespectful. He asked me if I was sure I knew what I wanted. I said yes. I told him I would look by myself. He kept following me around and asked what my company name was. I just made up a company name and a name for my boss. I was actually looking for something for myself, a push mower. Wouldn't shop here again for anything. The guy was kind of creepy.

I purchased a zero turn john deere from a box store and they service it here or I can make a appointment for them to come to my home and service the mower. Definitely doing more business with them soon, they have more than mowers and chainsaws. It's worth a trip to see the store and all the options they carry.

My wife and I bought some property 100+ acres a while back (4/2015). Keep in mind I did not grow up on a farm, I grew up on a lot that was 3/4 of an acre. I did not know what kind of tractor I would need or even know where to begin. Growing up in the Roanoke area I have always driven by V.I.C.E. but never dropped in. I researched John Deere Tractors because at the end of the day I knew that is what I wanted. After a couple weeks of researching online I decided stop in at V.I.C.E. to browse. Greg was the first to greet me with a handshake and showed me around. After hearing more about our property Greg had some recommendations for a tractor but did not want to sell me something that would not perform or do what I needed it to do. Greg, clearly unsure of whether or not I would actually buy at this point, (we still didn't have the property cleared or hydro-seeded) offered to meet me on the land to see the property to give the best recommendation. He recommended the 3033R from the get go, never once changing his recommendation or seeming hesitant made me feel way more comfortable in making such a large purchase. March/April of this year I finally bought the tractor from Greg, the tractor has been nothing more than I needed and nothing less than I expected. I have had the best experience working with Greg and his team there at V.I.C.E. Greg came out to my land on a Sunday (his only day off) to help me with questions I had about the tractor when I first bought it. Having such a great experience I am huge advocate of these guys. I have bought a Tractor w/ backhoe, loader, and mowing deck attachments, a chain saw, and a heater. I will continue to buy. Their service guys have even been top-notch. Todd helped Greg deliver my Tractor and showed me exactly how to hook and unhook from the attachments. Todd also gave me his cell phone number in case I had any questions. I love supporting local businesses, especially when it is 5 Star service.

Bad experience made MORE than right. Took my husqvarna riding mower in for service on a friday and they diagnosed the issue but we're unable to help. The owner Greg Migliarese was on vacation during the week yet still responded to my email on Sunday and promptly called me on Monday as soon as he returned to set some things straight for me. I was directed as to return my mower to Lowe's were I purchased the mower and bought an extended warranty to have my mower fixed. Greg has been in constant contact with me and has met my every need and listened to my complaints. He gave me his personal cell number so that I could reach him even after hours with anything I needed. Greg has seen this issue to the very end to make sure i was taken care of. On top of being very professional, respectful, and willing to do anything I needed from his end, he also never charged me for the service they did. Very outstanding man with a strong desire to make the customer happy. If you run into an issue at VICE contact Greg and he WILL make it right.

Paid $110 for a John Deere push mower repair, and after 5 min mower didn't work. Took mower back and they were unable to fix due to bent crankshaft (mower vibrated due to this since aquiring). They tell me to come and they will apply to purchase of new mower. When I arrive that agreement translates to first service no charge. How does this help on a new purchase? Furthermore my used mower is missing parts! Assume they thought I'd say scrap it, so they just start pulling off parts? They took the gas cap retainer, nuetral/ forward knob, and two plastic side assist clamps (that I've noticed so far.) Worst experience with a lawn care facility ever.

We experienced very rude service. Almost unbelivable. Thr store was closing in 5 min so I can relate that people want to go home however sometimes you just have to spend 5 min and be nice or you loose business. The sales person was rolling his eyes, sighing and telling us that they are trying to get out of here. I understand that it was time to close but when we walked in store was still open, we were about to spend $$$. Needless to say this business will not get my support I suggest shopping online instead. I have a feeling the owner of the shop might have different attitude towards customers.

I own a tree service here in Virginia and have been a Husqvarna fan my entire life, it is the only saw I will buy. I'm not originally from here and it is very impractical to drive to my hometown dealer for my needs. VICE is the only Husqvarna dealer in the valley and when I began purchasing equipment for the start up of my small business, I went in to inquire about a saw. I usually prefer to buy from local businesses and will only make online business purchases if the price difference is significant. I am willing to pay a little more for convenience and also to have a person I can talk to, who knows me and my situation. As a small business owner, I want to support other small businesses. It turns out they were over $120 more for a comparable saw package. I never let the first encounter effect my judgement and am always willing to give a second chance so, I ended up going back a little over a month ago for some saw chains (Just so happens to be the most common Husqvarna commercial chain), unfortunately they were out. I am in the market for a lightweight climbing saw and today I decided to give them one more chance. I walked over to the chainsaw display and was approached by a salesman, I inquired about the specific saw I was looking for and told him there didn't seem to be one on the rack. He asked one of the other employees and he walked over and said "Yeah we had some last month but they were all sold." Now keep in mind that not only is this saw likely the most popular trimming saw Husqvarna offers, it is also in stock at 5 or 6 different online stores in all possible package configurations. They didn't offer to see if they could order me one or to see when the saws would be coming in. The salesman said "We should be getting some soon.". I told him that I had been here 3 times and they couldn't help me on any occasion, I doubt there would be a next time. I also told him online shopping was easier and cheaper anyway. He laughed, shook his head and said "I hear ya.". I rarely complain about bad service, I simply stop giving my business to an establishment that is sub par but, this one got under my skin. As I said, I am a small business owner but, I also work a full time job as well. So needless to say, taking time out of my day only to be shown zero attention is unacceptable and costly. I do not know anything about their service department but, I hope they are better than their sales experience because I have a lot of Husqvarna equipment and they are the only dealer in town. Other than that, the place is very clean and has an extremely professional appearance.

Excellent service for my John Deere 2305 Sub-compact tractor. Unfortunately, I bought the tractor from another dealer who were terrible to deal with and get parts when needed. Got so frustrated that I decided to try somewhere else and VICE was my first stop. Right from the beginning, they were great and focused on meeting the customer's needs. They know the John Deere equipment and provide first rate experience.

Bought a husqvarna m-zt 52 zero turn mower and it has turned out to be a very good mower , just like they promised it would be! Had small issue with one of the pulleys on it recently and they fixed it right away!

Went in today and spoke to Mr. Greg Migliarese about purchasing some equipment from him. From the beginning, it was clear that not only is Mr. Migliarese passionate about what he does, but he thoroughly enjoys it. He was explaining some of the minutiae of the equipment we were looking at, and what he can do with it to help me, and his face was lit up like a kid on Christmas morning.

Not only am I comfortable recommending Mr. Migliarese for all your industrial equipment purchases, but I will be purchasing my own from him in the near future, and I feel comfortable that he will stand behind the equipment, and help with any service issues that may arise.
