Great food.

The food is good but the buffet is small and it seems every time I'm there it's empty.

Good prices, halfway decent food, needs to be cleaner. Owners are very kind and understanding.

Below average on decor and general appearances. Seemed clean. Waitress was friendly. Food was mediocre at best. While I may go back sometime I would never recommend it to someone as a good place to eat. Better than being hungry, barely.

Best lemon chicken I've ever eaten. Excellent beef and broccoli I've ever had. Would eat there again in a heartbeat. Waitress was very polite food was hot when served.

I need a place set down have a meal and catch up on a little work on my phone, I had a pleasant meal and was quietly working at my table after about 15 minutes the owner came up to me and told me to leave said this place was for eating only not for looking at my phone, It was only a few customers in there because of the time of day, And it wasn't like she needed the tables for customers, Sometimes I just need a Table to set down and catch up on a few emails, And I'm willing to pay for a meal in order to use the table . So saying that I won't be back

Thought it was a florist from outside and sits back from hwy63 across from Casey's. Good buffet and service very reasonably priced. We'll be back!

Comparing to Panda House (the other Chinese restaurant in Houston)

Spring Garden has better food I’d say the food at Spring Garden is 5 star and Panda house is three star.

Panda house has larger portions and are better at customizing menu items.

The worst thing about Spring Garden is the crab Rangoons are the worst I’ve ever had. They are just plain cream cheese, that’s all.

Let that not take away from the other food here. The general chicken is better than pretty much anywhere, period. And the same can be said for most of the menu items. Five star flavor, I’d definitely say the general chicken is the best in Missouri. They have some of the best flavorful dishes at any Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to. Though I wish they would improve their crab Rangoons. A staple of American Chinese food. Just throw in some onions, imitation crab, and some sugar.

Right as we came in a lady filled up 2 boxes to go. Emptied a lot of the food bar. They never replenished it. We got what was on the bottom. My rice was from the bottom and hard.

My husband loves this place, but I find their rice bland and their dishes just okay. Their potstickers are amazing though!
