Brette Evans is a great attorney and a great person. We had a difficult case involving family law and bankruptcy law. Brette is an expert in both areas of law. Since the minute we came to her office we had a feeling of being cared for. Brette gave us great understanding of our case , she worked hard to help us and she won the argument in court. She is well respected and we hardly recommend her office for family and bankruptcy issues.

I recently had an issue with a surprise wage garnishment that required a very quick response. Brette called me back on a Saturday morning, within about an hour of me leaving a message. I found Brette to be honest with me about what to expect, and understanding of the urgency of the issue. She quickly handled the paperwork required to stop the garnishment. She then worked quickly on reaching a settlement so that I was not required to pay the full amount. Her and her office staff are responsive, friendly and honest. My wife and I recently filed Chapter 13 and have not regretted it one bit. Brette always seemed to be one step ahead of the game. Her kind, caring demeanor made us feel like part of the family. Everyone at her office was very helpful, as well. Brette's hard work saved us tens of thousands of dollars, if not more. She did a great job!

Brette and her team are wonderful. (We work with her assistant Kelly.) It is not an easy thing. However, I would like to say that Brette is a great person to work with when personal bankruptcy issues are facing your family. She really does explain to you what will be expected to do and how the trustee will approach your case. We live in a remote part of Monterey County, but her offices in Salinas made it possible for us to file and let my family continue on with our lives.

I have nothing but great things to say about these people. They really helped me at a time when I was really down and felt like I was in a major panic.

The staff treated me with respect and made me feel like they cared about me. When I met with Brette, she immediately made me feel better by explaining where I stood with my debt problems and how they could be fixed. I almost waited too long to take action, but fortunately I got in to see her and was able to really fix a lot of problems. I expected a cold environment, but they have a relaxed feel to their office.

They sit right next to you, look you in the eyes, and you have a real discussion....not a lecture. This was really the place for me. My only regret is that I didn't go see them sooner.....it would have saved me a ton of stress. Great people :-)
