I had the pleasure of being able to work with Laura from Habbas & Associates for my personal injury case. She was so insanely patient and compassionate about what I was going through. She went out of her way to always reach out to me, even when our schedules didnt align. DO NOT BRING YOUR CASE HERE! I was involved in a auto accident Nov 2018 and to put it in nice words, I have gotten no where with this law firm and it is Oct 2019. All promises and smiles but no action and what's worse is we have the right to go to any Dr., clinic etc. for our treatment but this lawfirm is reluctant and will not send the documents over to the Dr. or clinic of your choice. Worse part is that they are attempting to force me to go a one route treatment which is out of pocket cost for my medical treatment even though I have a lien. I'm gonna fire them and hire another law firm that will get me results, this is not my first rodeo.

I was hit by a drunk driver at a standstill at 30 mph and suffered neck injuries as well as aggravation to a pre-existing vertigo condition. I'm not hating on ANYONE who had a good experience with this firm....however it doesn't turn out that way for everyone. I unfortunately was one of those people. As most people know, ANY attorney will only take on a case based on criteria, primarily if they feel you have a case...... And I had a slam dunk case. Well had one, till good ole Habbas & Associates. To keep the story short.... I was in an accident, was the other person at fault, it could of been fatal AND I sustained delayed injuries. The damage on my car was a big "tell all" to literally show that iy happened how i said it did. The angle of the impact, the tread locations from the vehicle that hit me....all of that. I knew i had a case and proceeded to follow up on a Habbas commercial, set up an appt and met with them. I ended up having an intern and they do a lot of the foot work for attorneys, except practice law. They can't do that due to regulations. Anyway long story short she took my case and we proceeded. Yeah.... The end of it all was this same intern OBLITERATING my case by doing a few things: she spoke to the officer at the scene of the accident and gave him complete inaccurate statements that I did not make to her for one and didn't tell me till over a week later about it. She was not in contact when I would email her or call her voicemail, nothing. She practiced law, and when that caused problems she basically stoped communication probably in hopes i would go elsewhere. She took my case and after crushing it her demeanor and tone of voice and "support" changed and went as far as to not so subtly imply that I was the one at fault for the guy HITTING ME lol. When confronted about how she handled things and disappeared, and how she said things that never came out my mouth she was extremely dismissive and lied on me afterwards. The most ridiculous part..... Not ONE TIME did i ever speak to, or reach, or was contacted by ANY licensed, practicing attorney. Not ONCE. Not to let me know who my attorney was, during the incompetent tome with the intern, nor after the fact to maybe apologize for the major screw ups made by this intern. Completely outrageous and to allow this girl to represent their firm as she did is not only stupid, but it silently told me they didn't care about me or my case as advertised on television... A crock by the way in my experience. I believe they knew what she did and knew that they were at fault....yet tool no time to call a client they took on.
In a nutshell I do NOT recommend Habbas & Associates based on MY experience and they did not take care of me at all and for those they did then you were lucky in being assigned to one of the attorney's who DO the job they went to law school for. Don't believe the hype and my advise is to shop around so to speak, bring someone with you when going to meet a firm as i did in the EVENT you need a witness, and lastly NEVER deal with the intern too much, ask for the attorney who is legally allowed to practice law.

I've never actually had Omar represent me in any cases but I have gone to him multiple times about legal questions. He's never asked for money. He's never been rude or irritated about it. He's always helped me out and gave me answers and solutions. One time, I had a question about a friends DUI and although it isn't in his field of work, he stepped in, helped out and directed me to people that could help my friend. His assistant, Toni, is also very kind. She got back to me if Omar couldn't and was there every step of the way with all of my absurd questions. Habbas is a very genuine and humble man and I know exactly who I would go to if I ever needed anyone to represent me!

I was a mail carrier in Oakland, California from 2014 to December of 2016. In December 2015 a homeowner's dog got out of their fenced yard and went straight to attacking me. Eventually the dog was wrangled up by the homeowner's son. My leg was tore open. I contacted Habbas and Associates sometime after that to get a settlement from the homeowners, after-all I feel it is their fault the dog attacked me since I wasn't even on their property. Habbas has only contacted me about 8 times since December 2015. They aren't good at communication or investigation. The statute of limitation to file a lawsuit is 2 years exactly, and Habbas hasn't said anything to me in 3 months. They are incompetent and careless. They shouldn't be practicing law. They keep telling me they are trying to contact the owner, after two years?! This law office is a joke

Horrible!! My mom was in a car accident and this lawyer didn't help at all. She was hurt and wasn't working for a year, unfortunatelly she had to beg the lawyers to end the case so she could go back to work and make so money because the lawyer didn't do much. She only got a couple of thousand dollars (after waiting for a whole year), it was always hard to get a hold of them throughout the case, they never called to give my mom updates she had to keep calling. Now she is hurt and working. Of course they don't care they got their money

Never Again! After 8 months of working with them I only got $200 more than originally offered. My attorney said they were going for $25,000 the next week someone else named Toni, who I've never spoken with before called and said I was only getting $1000. To add insult to injury the woman (Toni) attacked me because I didn't like the outcome. Was very rude, direct and nasty because I asked what happened with the original amount that was quoted to me. She came at me as if I was wrong for wanting an explanation. I was not rude, mean or disrespectful, just wanted an answer since I am the one who hired them. I believe they know they messed up because they would not allow me to speak with the original attorney who was handling my case, who happened to be new to the firm. I really believe the attorney (Toni) attacked me so hard was to put me in defense mode as if I was at fault. Very shady, distrusting and disrespectful. There is more to this story but I'm going to take it to God to handle.
