I just wanted to thank and recommend The Mapp Law Firm to anyone dealing with traffic cases in Virginia area. Especially if you get tickets with with out of state ID. Very easy people to work with and always stayed on track with my case and kept me informed. They provide online account to help you communicate with them easier. They got my case dismissed and I didn't even show up to court. Best feeling in the world. Thank you.

Mapp law firm was always there to answer all my question. Even prior to hiring them to represent me. I felt confident things would go smoothly, and they did. My reckless driving ticket was reduced to improper driving. Thank you attorney Mapp and staff!

I recvd a speeding ticket in VA while on vacation. I received a letter in the mail from The Mapp Law Firm offering me representation for a very reasonable rate. I’m so glad I made that call because ultimately they were able to get my ticket dismissed!! I had to take an online driver safety course however it was only $25 and well worth avoiding several years of increased insurance premiums due to the ticket. The Mapp Law firm was there to guide me the entire way from beginning til end. They followed up with me multiple times and stayed in touch until the case/ticket was dismissed. I hope this never happens again, but if it does, I will be calling Mapp Law firm right away!!!! Highly recommended this firm!!! Thank you!!

I'm going through alot with my divorce and custody so I had this firm recommended to me by a nice young professional. After the first few phone calls I was confident that I made the right choice but that quickly changed. I would leave countless messages and phone calls but never received anything back.

When I do get a response its usually Hi I'll give you a call back later and then four days pass without a call, voice message or email. I learned my lesson from this and will actually save up money for better lawyers in the future. I pray that other people will have a better experience than me but I'm staying far away from this place.

Minority ownership

My husband received a ticket for Reckless Driving in Virginia (we live in NJ) and retained Mapp Law firm’s services to appear for us in court. Although the financial penalty fee was satisfactory, my husband was found guilty of RD. Not only did I have to call the office to get this information, but I still had lingering questions about what happened in court that only the attorney could answer. I was informed she would give me a call back. After not getting a call for two days, I called the office and kindly requested (for a second time) a call from the attorney. After not getting a call for four additional days, I called and this time demanded that the attorney return my call. I wanted to know more about filing an appeal which needed to be done within 10 days of my court date— a deadline that was fast approaching. It was only when they realized that they could make more money off my husband’s case (and that I accused them of being negligent and not returning my calls) that the attorney finally decided to call. I assume if I hadn’t brought up the appeal, they would have left me out to dry and let the appeal deadline pass. Even though I was still upset about how long it took to finally get a call, I was still courteous with the attorney, but I will say this: the Mapp Law firm does not care about its clients. They take your money and don’t care to follow up properly. I have retained another attorney’s services for the appeal. It cost me more money than I would have had to pay had I continued with Mapp Law firm, but I have no confidence in Sherri Mapp to represent my husband properly. Pay more for better representation is my tip.

From my initial call to the end result I could not have been more satisfied with the quality of professionalism, communication, and service offered by Attorney Mapp-Jones and her paralegal Emily. I had hoped for a particular result in my case but I have a poor driving record and was uncertain if it was achievable so I had low expectations. My court case was on May 10, on May 3 I get a call from Emily telling me Attorney Mapp-Jones was able to present my case early (due to this particular County's policies) and she was able to deliver exactly what I had hoped to achieve. I received four different solicitations from attorneys to represent me as I am an out of state citizen. Attorney Mapps-Jones office was my first call and due to the immediate response and the comfort I felt in that call I did not call any others. Hopefully I will not require her services again but she certainly would be my first call if needed.
