Very unprofessional and has done nothing but lie and beat around the bush. He is the laziest person I've ever met. Everytime I text him about the case he replies "who is this" or "this is?" I had a lawyer prior to him which I thought who wasn't doing his job. So I was referred to him. He likes to butter people up considering 90 percent of people is military and he is ex military. The mother of my child has no job and struggles day to day yet on paper I have more custody than her and I pay hold support and the agreement we meet half way for our daughter when exchanging custody. Yet I drive a hour more than her and yet half the time she cant make it to meeting half way. But who am I for being the Male in the situation and they have no sympathy. Dont go to him their are better lawyers out there I promise.

Britni is absolutely correct...Perhaps, it is. time to take a back seat when facts become distorted. Horrible just negligent, lazy, and didn't even come to the 1st hearing although he knew his client lives out of state. Did not inform her he would not be there and failed miserable to address the facts of what for him should have been a cake walk. A support /Arrearage matter that much as actually switched to a fictituous case of interrogatories where the opposing side presented not a shref of evidence of any sort. As he did not object and was unapologetic about his failure to appear. Requested client travel long distance on a Saturday, because he was unable to meet his office requirements and told his client to meet him Saturday morning to bring the retainer. Client traveled long distance and her assistant along with her went to his ofgice. He stated "it's on my calendar" then on the court date failed to show.He did not answer his clients call after she traveled long distance, and was told by his office "he forgot, and was in Accomack County. Why,? When contacted via phone by opposing counsel and the judge from the bench on speaker phone he answered them right away. Client, tired and surprised listen d as he stated "it wasn't on his calendar" what after arriving long distance to pay his retainer on a Saturday.Witbout apologizing he in the presence of all parties continues the case without privacy or consulting first with his client of whom traveled long distance. He failed to submit the original docs provided him with financial info as evidence or to object that what was suppose to be an Support Arrearage hearing turned into a Interrogatory hearing with the opposing sid never presenting a shred of evidence thus, reducing the support and dismissing the arrearage Bizarre! When asked where the original financial docs were that we provided to be submitted as well evidence he was evasive. When asked to explain the Appeal he walked with client yo clerk's window gazed and walked away leaving her their and stating I walked you to the window," Client stated no one paid you to walk them to a window" He stated well I'm not on the Appeal, then later said okay, I'm on the Appeal but when agitated he was again not on the appeal. Asked him to compel the other party to adhere to the original order since it is on Appeal and he simply deflects and states "I'm not your lawyer anymore" At least he did admonish the opposing counsel of whom became extremely aggressive again towards his Fasnaros client and told his constituent "you leave her alone, she can talk to her spouse those people are still married" causing the man to refrain from further aggression towards her. Outside of that no sir, ma am his services will never be required neither will he recommended. The calling to Law should be a noble, moral and ethical calling for those seeking to serve . He stated his religious affiliation and the client stated then you should not be willing to partake in trickery. But when the root is not to make sure that no accussed person should br void proper legal ethical representation then the entire judicial system is afflicted and affected. Luke 11:54. Mr. Fasanaro perhaps you can become a Professor. In all honesty it's sad that he will not be recommended as his client endured serious hardship and he submitted info that his client was unaware . He really was one of the savviest lawyers when it came to manuvering through the law and the Halls of Justice..The failure to show or yo properly assert the clients rights, having them drive long distance on a Saturday and then return for the hearing and suffer a serious infraction without the courtesy of calling them to prevent an unnecessary trip or yo fax or draft a letter of continuance is inexcusable. However someday we all have to. Let God be God! Steer clear. No thanks, We've seen enough fallacies, trickery. Can't fool all of the people all of the time.
Cordially,

Not for nothing. I had the same experience on a case with my son. He did not show up and when he was called by another attorney he told the attorney he sent us a letter stating he would not be in court. We never received a letter, but I did get a full refund. I honestly think he is getting older and forgetful. He was one of the most sought after attorney's in this area at one point. It may be time for him to retire.

Very unprofessional. I was referred to Mike through a family member who is friends with him. We met about a custody appeal and he agreed to represent me for a discounted flat rate fee since he knew my family and knew that I had already paid a great deal to another attorney who had screwed up my case, so he wanted to help make things right. He told me to do all of my own filings & work directly with the GAL to build up my case & to keep his hours low since he was doing this at a discounted flat rate fee. I had no problem with that & found it refreshing to have an attorney willing to keep costs low. He had little involvement in the case outside of a few client meetings and a couple court appearances, which I thought was fine at first. But during meetings he would completely forget what had previously been discussed, and even several times had forgotten that he was representing me for an appeal in circuit court, not an original filing in J&DR, and tried to double the fee we agreed to, claiming it was an additional case. I had to remind him several times what I hired him to represent me for. During one appearance on a motion to dismiss the case, he failed to argue the case at all and allowed the entire case to be dismissed on the other party's claim that it had been filed prematurely, causing me to refile the case over again. Although he agreed to continue representation of new case under previous flat fee arrangement, this wasted a year and could have been avoided had he argued the case, but I figured it was just a fluke and just moved forward. In the last court appearance, he chose to not argue the case at all and rely solely on the GAL's report since it was detailed and in our favor. It wasn't until the judge told him that he wasn't reading the GAL's report and that he had to plead his case if he wanted any of his side heard, that he made a few arguments with no evidence at all. During that trial, the GAL had to defend me & bring up points because he was not properly prepared & had forgotten most important facts since he went into court with no intention of arguing the case. There were several big issues that he refused to bring it up, saying it wasn't admissible because he thought it happened before the last court order. I reminded reminded him of when events happened, but he still refused to bring it up & it was the GAL who had to bring it up to the court & point out that it was admissible & important. He also neglected to bring up facts pertaining to the other party hiding information & again the GAL had to bring it up instead. The GAL did more for my case at trial then Mike did. After court, he was upset things didn't go his way, so he started yelling at me outside the courtroom, telling me that I should have been more involved with him & that he never instructed me to deal more with the GAL & that because of that reason it was my fault the case was lost & that he would not represent me anymore. Mind you, I was not outraged with the outcome, he was, & trying to be professional I even thanked him for his attempt, since he did give me a big discount. He then said that he would be sending me a nice hefty bill for all of this. I reminded him that this case was a flat rate fee, but he said "we'll see about that" & walked into the men's bathroom. I believed to have paid my account in full upon completion of the case, so I made no further monthly payments, but received a demand for an additional $750 2 months after the case ended. I emailed him and explained why I thought it was paid in full, listed all agreed flat rate fees that I was aware of for original case & additional work, & requested an itemized bill showing all fees along with payments he received, so I could see where the discrepancy was. He replied with a letter saying that because I hadn't made a payment, he was no longer cutting me a break & is changing my account to hourly & I now owe $4,750. All because I asked to see all fees and payments since my records showed I had paid in full.
