Now this might seem odd but I'm actually a client of another lawyer that had to deal with Ms Walters . While my ex and I were trying to get a disolution of marriage my ex hired this wonderful Lawyer . We showed up at a mutual agreed meeting to only be fooled into thinking this women was a lawyer that is UP FRONT about anything. She continued to collect a paycheck from my soon to be Ex by feeding her nothing but lies and deception on how a no fault state divorce really works . The conclusion of the said meeting was when Ms Walters made a completely inappropriate comment About our daughters future and what College she will attend . In the end after a year of her telling my Ex a Trial is the only way to do this , My Ex fired her . Well done Ms Walters.
If there was a 0/5 star option I'd chose that. Mrs. Walters and her staff are the worst. When first meeting her I thought she was going to be amazing. She was confident my divorce would be a slam dunk and fast. Sadly after 2 1/2 years I have nothing, literally nothing to show for it. My new lawyer said she filed things wrong and did not collect proper documents that I know have to track back 2 1/2 years to find. She missed my status hearing that I could not attend due to work. She gauranteed me I did not have to attend and she would handle the status hearing. My soon to be ex husband attended and even got help for his case. She's a joke and with her recent charges I'd assume will not be practicing any longer. I wish I knew better.

What can I say, when you hire an attorney to represent you in divorce proceedings and then they fail to show up to those proceedings on your behalf, that kind of tells you what kind of relationship you're going to have. Mrs. Walters should not be trusted, I hired her to help me out during one of the most difficult times of my life, a divorce. During that time she missed several Court hearings and in the process I was forced to pay additional fees to pay my ex-wife's attorney. Not only that, while I was in court, I was accused of not turning in all the paperwork when in fact Mrs. Walters office had all the documentation that had been requested. Unreliable and untrustworthy. Yup, the Fresno County Bar association has been notified.
