I engaged Dru Wicker's legal help in 2013 after all my previous attempts at naturalization were denied, and she was able to help me get naturalized.I came to the States the first time on a J-1 student visa in 1999, following the completion of my study in 2003, i returned to my country of origin. In 2004, my fiancee who was an American citizen applied for a K-1 visa in order for me to come back to the United States to get married and start a family. My application was approved and i came back to the States and got married within 90 days as stipulated by the K-1 visa conditions. Unfortunately, my application for adjustment of status was denied, and i was told that i should have stayed in my country of origin for at least 2yrs before i could come back to the United States since that was one of the requirements of the J-1 visa that i first entered the States with.  This was hard on both me and my wife and hence the suffering of our marriage. We divorced after 6yrs of marriage and at that point my stay in the country was illegal because i haven't been able to naturalize. In 2012 i married my current wife and my attempt to naturalize was denied again, i was told that i entered the country on a K-1 visa and only my former wife could petition for me because i was given the fiancee visa to come and marry her. Thats when i reached out to Dru Wicker for help with my case. She reviewed my case and acknowledged that it wasn't easy and that she hadn't dealt with one like it before, but that did not prevent her from giving it a try.
