Legal assistance with civil legal problems is available here. There is a screening process as assistance is needs based and there are income limits. They do not take walk in clients so it is important to call and be screened for eligibility before visiting the office.
no one woukd answer the phone for 2 hours, i had to go online and get a customer numver just to ask a question, legal aid or ignore the poor

Called the Legal Aid Society and there was a longer than normal wait time. I love they have the option to leave your name and number for a call back. Yes they actually called me back within the hour. The Assistant was pleasant and well versed. Would call again if I needed help with legal questions.
