Folks were friendly but the food was terrible today. In the past the food was very good but today the BBQ beans were only worm pork and beans the slaw had a smell I couldn't discrib and the shoulder wasn't done and mostly fat. The trash told the same story bye what was thrown away. I will go back because this isn't the norm for r&s BBQ.

If you want some real BBQ plates or sandwiches this is the place. Watch the food cooked over a giant grill indoors loaded with beef chicken and pork and build your own meal. The prices arent expensive at all and its a family friendly place in a nice little town. .I live 37 miles away and people here travel there for the good food.

I was in Tompkinsville today and picked up our dinner. The people here are so friendly and make incredible ribs, shoulder, and pulled. Plenty of leftovers to enjoy!!

Friendly atmosphere. Obvious local favorite. Really good Monroe county style barbecue. Traveled 80 miles to try it and will definitely go back.
