I highly recommend the Neelam Bhardwaj's law firm, they are experts on immigration matter. Neelam and Kelli, thank you so much again for all of your support.
Update: In response to lawyer's message below: Yes you did not charge me, but you wasted my time. You initially agreed to this consultation after I clearly explained the details over the phone over 3 weeks ago. Then, last minute, you decided you needed more information, and you canceled on the day of the consultation. I had already compiled all the paperwork and details your office had asked for, so it was a waste of my time. Yes your office has been doing this for a while, but maybe check who ever answers your phone and make sure that you get all the facts you need before making decisions on consultations, so as not to waste people's time!
Another update: Kelli, just as I do not know you, you do not know me either and it is a false claim to say I am annoyed with my previous lawyer. We had the same lawyer for two years, and I only reached out to you when we arrived at a dead end with this lawyer and were simply seeking a professional legal opinion from your office.
You keep saying you didn't charge me. It's not always about the money. You can do something unprofessional that has nothing to do with money. What happened yesterday was extremely unprofessional. 1) whoever spoke to me over 3 weeks ago had all the details and spoke to the lawyer and STILL recommended that I make the appointment. 2) Your office called a day before the meeting to stress on the importance of bringing all documents. 3) Office called less than a few hours before the appointment, asked questions that I had answered during my very first call, consulted the lawyer, then advised me not to come so as not to waste my money!
I wasted my time and effort, so money is not my issue. So saving my money is not something I will thank you for, given that you wasted 3 weeks of my time, when I could have simply found another lawyer. Your office had me sitting documenting on paper all the details of my parent's current issue, and had me printing every single document I could find to help the lawyer make a clear recommendation, only to be told, OH, don't bother with that, just don't come because we SUDDENLY discovered that we can't help you. That is unprofessional and I do not need to have visited your office to make that assumption from this incident. Yes, you probably have a great record, but your office is made up of human beings, and we are all capable of making mistakes and errors in judgement. What is even more unprofessional here is the fact that, instead of simply apologizing for this error in judgement, your office continues to make this out as if I am making unfair claims, which is very far from the case. Enjoy the rest of your day.
