Dwight Scott is an extremely rude, and inconsiderate individual. I called his office due to him being the public defender on a case for my boyfriend some years priors, and before being able to address any questions, or concerns I was rushed off the phone, and he hung up in my face. I then called back and after expressing to him that he hadn’t fully understood what i was calling and requesting he made the comment “if you’re trying to get your boyfriend out of jail..” I then stated that he wasn’t incarcerated. (Something he would have known if he listened to the details I was trying to explain to him) I felt strong prejudice behavior was displayed, and his overall tone suggested he didn’t want to be bothered with trying to help in any form of fashion. I understand as a lawyer they are constantly busy, but if you are going to talk to someone who could be a potential client it is a way to talk to a person without being so abrupt and abrasive.
