Mr. Kwon was recommended by another lawyer that we contacted. He was very knowledgeable and helpful when we had questions regarding a complicated matter involving both a criminal suit as well as civil suit. Took his time to explain in easy to understand verbiage and offer different methods in which the case could be handled. Although we have not officially hired Mr. Kwon as we are still working out the details, he will be our first choice.

About a year ago I was referred to Attorney James Kwon for a couple of completely different legal issues, one quite serious and one kinda misdemeanor serious, lol, ( Neither were criminal matters) So I go online to check his reviews and there is just the one, not too flattering review. I contact my good friend who is a trusted person in my life to confirm I got the right lawyer. He say yes and to not be concerned that "anyone in business could have 1 angry, got an axe to grind client or customer" and since I agree 100% off I go to the office of Attorney James Kwon. I want to say right off that I did not meet a man in rumpled clothes, who was anywhere near hungover. I meet a well groomed, soft spoken, thoughtful man who I liked immediately and felt that most folks would come away with the same feelings and this was very important to me because one of my legal issues was probably going to go to trail...I have always felt a likable lawyer is very important since 12 strangers are going to be judging him and by extension his clients case. And in this case, that's MY CASE...Long story short. My case went to trial and my lawyer James Kwon won it for me. I knew I was going to come back to this place and even out that terrible and biased review that is not providing a service to anyone. Frankly I never met the guy described as the lawyer named James Kwon from the negative review before mine. IF I felt the same way it would be time to pile on to make sure a lousy lawyer had as much trouble getting a client as possible, because I hate incompetent lawyers and there are tons of em. But that's not the case here and i think if you need legal representation you would be well served in giving James Kwon, serious consideration based on my experience. And my experience is extensive in working with Mr Kwon. My legal representation needs stretched into almost 13 months. I met with James and his support staff at least 15-17 times in that years plus time frame. We must of had 25 calls back n forth between us and I don't ever recall not being called back in a timely fashion, ever.....(MY pet Peeve When Dealing with ANY Professional's Office) and I never met the lawyer the negative reviewer described. So I just reread that review, I hate to keep harping on it, but the last thing Ill say about it is its funny his case is a DUI....So we know the reviewer likes to imbibe, allegedly, .. lol ..it's just funny or ironic he uses "hungover" as a description of HIS ATTORNEY in HIS DUI case. The truth folks is I didn't ever see that. I don't drink, I don't drug and i am pretty observant and focused especially when it comes time to judge a lawyer I'm thinking about hiring to fight for me in court. I got every sense of mine on high alert trying to find any reason to NOT hire, but all I got from James Kwon was positive vibes and thank God I did, I NEEDED to win that court case. I always wanted to ask James about that 1 negative review, but I figured he probably wouldn't discuss another client with me...So I just took upon myself to A) thank James in a public forum and B) try to drum up business for a great lawyer by C) telling every person in Clark County from the highest mountain top (aka Yelp) that's what he is and D) don't pay any attention to the single negative review from a disgruntled former client who just might be guilty and was treated as such and is angry @ his attorney....that he didn't work some magic voodoo to get him absolved of HIS crime....Don't be mad at the man in the mirror eh pal?....just sayin...You could at least tell both sides of the situation but no, people who are lashing out don't tend to be honest or fair. So there's my counterpoint. It can happen to anyone in business and I can assure you, its not the attorney who I hired and won my legal battle. Not even close. ATTA BOY JAMES!! worst lawyer ive ever seen. shows up on court date with wrinkled jeans and dress shirt looking hungover and cant change the drunk driving to a reckless driving. charges 2000 dollars and basically does nothing. showed up late too..smh. then we hired another lawyer and he gets it taken care of right away. would never suggest doing any kinda of business with him. also lied and said he charged 2000 dollars because he took extra special care of our case..what a scammer...i dont think he even did anything....worst lawyer ive ever seen.
