Shelley represented a family member. She is not honest at all. She asked for a $3000.00 retainer fee. She made several phone calls and with her lack of knowledge regarding the short sale process and the selling of the home she had to contact another attorney. Nevertheless, she was told by the family member that the ex-husband was wanting to settle out of court. Day prior to court, the ex-husband called and wanted to settle before going to court , but Shelley never reached out to the client. When the client was reached by the ex-husband she acted like she didn't know about it and kept the remaining $1300 in the retainer stating she won't refund the money. The board should know about her ethical methods of law practice. I wouldn't hire her and if you do...good luck. She is not well prepared and her knowledge appears to be monetary related. if I could give her -1 star I definitely would
