1.0 star rating 8/25/2016 First to Review Last February I hired divorce attorney Colleen Steele. The all-inclusive charge was $1,000 which I paid her in one payment. Divorce papers were signed by both parties at the end of February. At the end of April I called Ms. Steele to see when the court date would be. At that time she said she had not filed the papers. I had her mail them to me and I went and filed them myself. When I filed, I had to pay $195 filing fee which should have been included in the $1,000 that I paid to the attorney. I called her and she stated she would mail me a refund check. Today I still have not received the check. Since that call in April she does not answer my calls or return my messages. I called the courthouse and they stated since I had an attorney the attorney had to be the one to request the court date. What I need from Ms. Steele is for her to get me a court date and to refund my $195. That's not an unfair expectation.
