I was called and told my equipment was ready to pick up and when i arrrived 3 days later my hedge trimmer was not runnning and was told a xarbuator was on order

These people go out of their way to make sure they make their customers happy. I've been coming here for almost 7 years now and it's been hard being a lady and not knowing anything about Outdoor Equipment what they go out of their way to make me happy every time I show up I'm actually going there today. Thanks for making this old gal happy. Keep working hard keep doing what you guys do you have a great business you can't make everybody happy but I continue to come back and I'll bring all my friends with me.

Having to drive from Asheville to have our wood chipper covered under warranty was well worth it! Excellent staff, knowledgable and friendly.

Moved to Marion NC from Greenville SC area., had an older model self propelled Tiller that was left here at the farm we bought. Looked like it might run with a little TLC. I got the engine to run but the gear for the tiller was seized. Took it down the road and left it for a week. We had to get a nother lower end for the machine but we had another that was good only for parts. We did some haggling and walked away with our now working tiller. Very large self propelled DIRT EATING tiller. Couldn't ask for a better place to trade with!

I recently brought in my 2 older model Stihl chainsaws for maintenance. Both had not been started and used in well over a year. The staff was friendly and familiar with the models I brought in. They discussed options and I left the saws for service. Not a full time NC resident I expected the service may take a couple of weeks and I would pick them up on my next trip. I was very surprised to hear that both saws were successfully overhauled by Jim in one day! Went in and picked them up before I left NC. Both were back in great running order and the cost for the maintenance was well below what I was prepared to spend considering the shape they were in. I fully recommend SOE, Marion for equipment service and repairs!

The people were nice and friendly when I called them spoke like they New the problem I had been having with my mower however after I got the bill I realized how big of a scam this place is my mower had been fixed but I was charged nearly 400 dollars for something that was a easy fix they had 35 dollars in parts rest they claimed was labor when I got my mower and drove it on my trailer it was missing a bolt asked the man we’re it was and he never bothered to find it I had to and fix it i go to lots of shops depending on we’re I am working I go to and this is Farr from a shop that I would recommend

So far so good, I just took my tiller there to be looked at. They seem very honest people.I got a great response about my tiller, if you need work done go there for sure.

A hidden gem in between Lake Lure and Marion is Specialty Outdoor Equipment. My BlackMax generator needed service. My google search showed this to be the closest repair shop. I have driven by several times on my way to I-40 but never stopped in. I was totally blown away with the cleanliness and professionalism. This is a family owned business that shows true pride and dedication. Specialty Outdoor Equipment sells many top names like Stihl, Snapper, and Hustler. They carry a large supply of parts and turn around time is above average. I highly recommend.

First of all the staff is excellent. Service is great too. If you are considering making any purchase no matter what brand they sell, check with this seller by all means. I could have saved 7% or more on a leaf blower with this dealer. Lesson learned for sure. My next purchase will be with this dealer on my needs from now on. Highly recommend!
