I had a car wreck March 6, 2015 which I was not at fault. I was referred to Angela Smith from a friend. My car was not drive-able so I needed a rental. I was calling around trying to see about going about getting a rental car and found out I had to wait on a case number in which my attorney had to get being that I was not supposed to speak to the insurance company. I waited 2 weeks to finally get a claim number from Angela Smith to actually have a vehicle to drive. Angela started talking to a supervisor June 8, 2015. I heard no updates from June 10-21, 2015. She sent an e-mail asking about my total bills on June 22, 2015. She got a settlement offer on June 24th and I asked her to counter the offer because it would not cover all my bills and her fee. To which she responded they wouldn't come up any more and she was not willing to try. I didn't hear back from her for almost 3 weeks and got an email stating she would be out the office July 2,2015 through July 5, 2015, and also July 6, 2015 through July 12, 2015 and I received this e-mail on July 13, 2015. I then sent an e-mail the same day and asked if she was back in the office and never got a reply. I started getting letters for other attorneys and decided to call them. I then asked her to send a release of representation on my behalf. When I started talking to my new attorney he was asking her for my file and she did not respond to him for 3 weeks. When she did she informed him she had given him my file which is absolutely not correct. I never received anything from her. When I would try and get in contact with her through her office I would never get someone to answer, I always got the voicemail to which my calls were never returned.
After she was informed I had a new attorney to represent me she would send very rude texts to my cell phone saying she was not happy with me as a client as i wasn't happy with her as my lawyer. She also informed my lawyer that she was not happy with me as a client, which in my opinion is very unprofessional. I would not recommend her as someone to represent anyone,
