I am not even sure these fools even have a degree. You never realize how bad a lawyer is until you hire a new one. They are easily triggered.

I would rate 0 stars if possible he refuses to answer my calls or call me back I had to call the clerk of court to find out my next court date I went today and saw him in the courtroom for 5 whole minutes refused to speak with me I sat there for 7 hours and nobody would tell me anything finally when the court would let me ask what was going on come to find out he got it continued and didn't tell me I mean really dude

Sam Hopkins is the worst lawyer ever. I paid him $1500.00 for him to stand in front of the judge and let the D.A. accuse my fiancé of guilt and not lift a finger or say anything to defend him. Why? Because he didn't talk to us before court. He went into the court room blind and didnt care about us. He was fast to take our money and then have us leave the court room right after the judge ruled 18 months supervised probation. He didn't even notify the judge that we are from Mecklenburg county or need permission to travle out of state for work but Mr. Hopkins got himself out of 4 DWI's with only unsupervised probation! It was on channle 9 news. Trust me you don't want this man representing you. He does the least amount of work for a huge fee and it's NOT worth it!
