Our family was not aware of the benefits Mom was eligible for through the Veterans. Having worked with McIntyre Elder Law in the past for benefits for my Dad during his illness, Greg and his team informed us that Mom was eligible for benefits after our Dad had passed away. Mom needs daily care to be able to stay in her home and that gets expensive. With her savings dwindling away, help was definitely needed. Through diligence and persistence, Greg and the McIntyre Elder Law team was able to secure the Veterans Aid for my Mom. The process was lengthy however, the Veterans benefit paid retroactive to the time of application. This will enable us to get Mom the wheelchair ramp she desperately needs.
