Takes money without providing services. Of course he will accept small payments when no one else does...why does it matter if you can come up with a couple grand instead of five grand if he never intended to do anything. He made one phone call. Wanted me to copy my own paperwork. I seriously doubt he even read it.

I paid him $1500 to help with my case. He did not return phone calls and constantly canceled and postponed phone meetings due to personal reasons. When I called him out on not following through with sending out letters he was supposed to write for me, he sent me a nasty email and ended our client attorney relationship. I had to hire another attorney for the same as you. I do not recommend.

I hired J. Elliott Field to help out with an appeal filed by a former employer regarding unemployment compensation I had already collected. I was concerned I could be in a situation having to pay back compensation that was meant to help me out in a time of need. Elliott got it sorted out after just a couple of meetings. His rate was fair and I was happy he kept me on track and focused throughout the process. I'd hire him again.

Stay far away from this attorney. Paid $2000 to basically write a letter. No follow up ever. Responds to email just to state he'll get to it next week but next week apparently never comes.

The worst I've seen yet paid him 1500 and he didn't even come to court to represent me my advice DON'T EVEN CONSIDER THIS ATTORNEY.

I believe he was a very good attorney. I had several unpaid tickets due to expired registration and I lost my licence. On top of all that I got pulled twice for driving while my licence was revoked. In general, a situation like that would be expensive to defuse anyways, even more exponentially expensive without an attorney. He responded last minute when no one else would, without hesitation, and was more than willing to help. Long story short, all my charges were dismissed and I have my licence back. I would suggest Elliot Field to represent me again 10 times I've!

Not a good experience at all. The first time I came to this attorney he was very late and I broke into an anxiety attack.
There were some defamatory statements and lies posted online to attack my character.
An insane woman who did not even know me, who had acted on jealousy and hate, and lord only knows what else did this. If I knew who she was to this day my life would be so much easier.
Needless to say my feelings and character, and will to live, were all extremely disrupted by the false accusations that this person had put on me.
Instead of working to find out who this person was, and get to the bottom of why they were attacking me, and what action we could take as a team, simply decided to take $700.00 dollars from a then 20 year old girl, just starting out her career and life.
He wrote a "threatening" letter to the head of the website, the man who allowed the false to be posted, and me ridiculed and suffering from mental trauma as a result.
When his letter which I read, promised me that it would clear some things up, for $700 it certainly should have, yet failed. Especially for a then 20-year-old girl just starting out in her career with no money.
Mr. field then told me that we could take the head of this website to court But it would cost me $10,000, which is just astronomical and I believe that I was taken advantage of and fed tons of flase promises.
I think that Mr. Fields should have been a little bit more tactful and the way that he approached this letter, asking the head of this website outright, Who posted the defamatory statement.
I think that he could have but done a better job, of assisting me in finding out who I really needed to sue, which was not the websites itself but the person who said it.
I also hired a private investigator, he was no help either.
To this day I will never know more than likely and it has been a scar I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
The comments made were so hurtful, untrue and disrespectful I honestly considered taking my own life.
You would think that in his heart he would care more about their client then just charge them $700 to write a letter in generic format knowing he will accomplish nothing by doing so.
Just as a warning to anyone who is dealing with legal issues for the first time, make sure you find an attorney with a heart.

Benjamin Hardwick, is a much better attorney who fights for his clients no matter how terrible their situation is; if I had to recommend an attorney, it would be him for certain.
