The Chattanooga Bar and their staff want to help people find the right attorney to meet their legal needs and have quality assurance procedures in place. They provide a very important service to the community and while some people might not get the outcome they want on their legal cases, the Chattanooga Bar works hard to make sure they can help refer you to the best lawyer for your case. They offer a multitude of other services for the community and for their members.
One great service they do that not many people may know about is the "When You Become 18..." booklet, that is given to high school students and prepares them for all the legal changes and what they become responsible for when they turn 18.

To the staff at the Chattanooga Bar - Thanks for your hard work!

I paid 4K to an attorney and when he died in the middle of my case, I was told to contact the bar association, that I could recover some of that money. They let me know they would look into it, but instead never returned any of my calls and refuse to speak to me now. Complete and utter incompetent joke in my honest opinion. They are highly irresponsible and offer zero assistance. Any advice they do provide is incorrect and misleading, while offering referrals for attorneys who don't even handle your type of case. Do not rely on them for anything related to any attorney in Chattanooga, because they will quite literally waste your time.

Way faster than McDonald's and my food always comes fresh. The staff was attentive and had a high sense of urgency even at 4 am

Avoid EVER utilizing this service to dispute fees from poor attorney's. In my opinion this organization is utterly and completely biased to the attorney in question.

We disputed fees from a local attorney, (Mary Sullivan Moore,) which this attorney literally perjured herself in front of this panel, and on multiple occasions was caught lying about fees and time spent, and in the "award letter" they found her contract in breach, yet that she was still owed an additional sum of money on top of the large retainer already paid. This attorney in 6 months filed 1 document incorrectly with the court, and somehow walked away with $4500.

In my opinion, the CBA is nothing more than a biased committee to help further supplement the horrendous attorneys Chattanooga is known for.

Worst part? Their "award" letter cannot be appealed.

Avoid them as much as you would attorney's like Mary Sullivan Moore.
