Upright law was very good to me. With everything that I needed

They said I could make payments but I told them I would call to make my payments. I gave a 20$ down payment with my debit card. The lady said that would be fine I explained that I was on fixed income. They ended up charging my debit card 150$ supposedly they said I agreed to that with a verbal agreement. I also received 3 emails I was supposed to sign verifying that was a retainer for my lawyer. I never signed them. When someone tells you one thing and they do the opposite that is wrong. The excuse for not refunding my money back was the lawyer fee for talking to me for ten minutes. I know of no lawyer who charges 150$ for 10 minutes. Do not use them it's a rip off. I wish I had seen they only had a 2 star rating because I never would have used them. Most definitely do not use them and if you are make sure you call before they deduct your payment and make arrangements if you can't make that payment. I learned my lesson the hard way so beware. Also in speaking to them to try and resolve this they were rude and hung up on me. What a way to do business.

Horrible company and after I misadvised by their organization and paid my money the attorney doesn’t even try to proceed with my filing and then they tell me it takes 30-45 days to get my money back!

Upright law is not a good company, Please do not pay your money to this company!

You need to know that their refund policy is 30- 45 days. I requested a refund hours after they charged me. I was told it would be a month or longer. I ended up getting my money back within 3 days because I went through my banks fraud department. The paperwork says NOTHING about a 45 day waiting period.
