I worked with Mr. Doug Nicholson in the past as a defendant. I could tell he really didn’t want to work with me. During our initial meeting, he was rude to me, would not look me in the face, and was very sarcastic when I asked him questions about what was going on. It was clear to me that he did not care about showing me respect at all. When I gave him my side of what was going on, he would say sly remarks and even laugh at my stance in my face. It was very hurtful and made me feel low. I wanted to get as much information from him as possible because I didn’t know much about the court system. He wasn’t really that helpful. After everything was over with, he didn’t even speak to me or give me a simple handshake. I had to walk over to him and speak to him before shaking his hand. Even then, he acted like he didn’t want to have anything to do with me and avoided eye contact. I understand that I was the defendant, but I don’t think that gave him the right to treat me so rudely and so coldly. It really hurt my feelings as a person, especially since that was one of the first times I worked with a lawyer of any kind.

Had to go in person. .....still no one to help.....closed on a friday late afternoon.. .....
