Did not fight for me in court kept forgetting my info and wasn't together in handling my case I end up losing horribly. I suggest looking elsewhere for legal representation or represent yourself if need be.

I have mixed feelings on my experience using David Stoddard as my disability attorney. Ultimately my SSDI claim was approved, but I do not feel he and his staff made the process easier, or made me more likely to be approved. He was an hour late for my disability hearing in Greenville. Were it not for me having a laid back judge, I could have had to wait another year for a new hearing date. Following the hearing, it took three months for my benefits to begin. During that time, in search of info, I asked members of his staff to make some phone calls to the attorney-only phone line at Social Security (even gave them the # to call), but twice they “lost” the number and failed to call me back. I honestly felt as if they could care less once my claim was approved. The main thing his office did was fill out the online application and coordinate paperwork. If you can get online, do some research, write well, and have all your medical records, I would seriously consider representing yourself. That would mean up to $6K more in your pocket instead of going to an attorney fee, from your back/retro pay If your claim is approved.. Either that or shop around and consider using another disability attorney. I say that at the risk of sounding ungrateful (I’m not), but I want to make sure other people who were in my situation make the right choice.

I can't say or show enough gratitude on the help and support they have showed me this past year. Will recommend everyone to go meet with David and allow him to assist you in you legal situation!!

I only gave one star bc I dont know how to put a negative star! I have not had but 2 occasions in my life that I needed an attorney & I wish that Mr Stoddard had not been one of them. He & the blonde lady (paralegal) are very unprofessional! The paralegal actually called me a liar when I told her I had called 14 times & never received a return call, I went all the way up there so she could see on my phone the dates & times I had called & compare them with her phone records, she said they kept. She would not open the door, she slammed it shut & locked it on me. On my court date, Mr Stoddard had not prepared me & he certainly wasnt prepared he came in with a legal pad from the $ store & a pen. He couldn't answer the judges questions bc he knew nothing about my case. As a matter of fact, just as we were walking in he said he was gonna change things up bc this judge wasn't a good one. Needless to say, I lost that case. Mr Stoddard even said before we walked in we would lose. I've spoken to several attys about the way he & his paralegal handled things & two were in disbelief, one already heard the same from many ppl. My advice if you want to win your case, choose a different atty, a professional one with a professional staff. They evidently seemed to think I was working for them not the other way around. Bc of him, my case cant come back up. He does not have a good reputation in the Anderson area.

He is a very forgetful and unorganized lawyer a 30 day divorce still took over 6 months smh their are millions of better choices for lawyers

Terrible customer service. They don't return phone calls or emails. He advertises services that he doesn't want to service (labor law). Find another lawyer.

As of right now, as someone said above he has not returned any calls. He went to court blind sided. He didn't even know when the court date was until we told him it is tomorrow. Needless to say he showed up at court not knowing the first thing about our case. So it has been taken to another level don't know if he has done his part on getting the next level ready. He makes easy money just to sit there. If there is any good he has done we have yet to see it. He is making our case worse instead of better at this point. If things where to change for the better I will definitely give better feedback. As of right now we are worse off than we were before we paid for him. I most definitely hope he makes a 360 on our case so I can come back and really brag about it. But so far we have been very disappointed. Really hoping it has all just been a bad start for a wonderful ending. Will keep everyone posted on turn of events. We are current with him as of now.

David is a good lawyer . Very smart , and a good person. I would and do recommend him and his team to anyone needing a good lawyer !

Absolute worst lawyer I have ever dealt with. I highly recommend NOT using him if you want to win your case. I truly beleive most of the 5 star ratings are FAKE. At least one of the reviews is by one of his Staff members, and there are several that are duplicate reviews(John Smith has left three seperate 5 star reviews). If he needs people to leave fake reviews, I think that speaks for it self.

I would recommend him to anybody. He helped get my daughter back. I couldnt have done it without him. I appreciate him so much.

Extremely un-professional.Can't remember promises made to his clients or conversations correctly. Argued more with client then opposing council.Did not hold up to the agreement in which he agreed upon,ultimately caused more damage to the case he was involved in, then good.Took money for services not rendered correctly and exercised the most un-ethical behaviour EVER seen.In any business. Ended up doing all legal work myself and got the results desired.I WOULD ONLY RECOMMEND THIS ATTORNEY FOR USE IF YOU WERE ON THE OPPOSITE END OF MY LAWSUIT, SO ID GUARANTEE VICTORY IN MY FAVOR.

I would NEVER recommend this attorney. Exercise due diligence before you hire him.

Some divorces are amicable, mine was not. David was a sharp lawyer who was always one step ahead of the opposing legal team. He talked sense into me when I needed it and was a pitbull in the courtroom. He is truthful ethical and fair, which is why he is so effective. He knows the law opts to take the high road in lieu of being petty and trivial; he knows judges see right through that type of tactical warfare. I got everything I wanted and then some. If you want a competent lawyer who knows the law and will fight for you, David is the guy!

Did a life changing feat for me, he won my children. Today they are on there own, graduated college and leading productive lives.
If they had gone to there father, well let's just say he's on 20 years probation.
I owe everything to David, he gave me the greatest gift ever..my daughter's.
