Throughout the process it never felt rushed and all of the complicated legal terms were explained thoroughly.
This is a great firm and I highly recommend them.
I worked with Mr. Kaiden and Ms. Weyand most of the time, and both were very polite, courteous, and genuinely cared about getting the best possible outcome for my grandfather. They are extremely knowledgable and thorough. First they carefully analyzed my grandfather's situation and even drew up an analysis that was over 30 pages long. Then they set up a portfolio of legal documents which took care of my grandfather's present needs (applying for VA benefits) but also every foreseeable contingency in the future - will, health care directive, financial power of attorney, etc., that made sure my grandfather also qualifies for Medi-Cal, if he needs skilled nursing in the future.
When a local credit union refused to release my grandparents' assets, Mr. Kaiden took the time to call and fax the regional manager, letting him know that what the bank was doing was illegal and (gently) threatening action. Being lied to and given the runaround by a bank can make you feel really small and powerless and frustrated, so it was great to have the help of a lawyer who deals with banks all the time.
In short, Kaiden Elder Law Group took an incredibly complex and difficult process and made it manageable. This law firm has some of the most knowledgeable, competent and responsive professionals I have ever done business with. I can't recommend them highly enough.
