What a horrible experience!!! Very poor communication from the pre-closer and the closer. In fact, the day before closing, we called Merino & Associates to confirm our closing and the closer had left at 3:30 pm!! It wasn't until we arrived at our 10:00 am closing that we were told closing was pushed back. They then proceeded to yell at us as if it were our fault that we showed up on time and that we should have known.

Would not recommend Merino & Associates to any of our clients or fellow Real Estate Agents!!!

Since I can't respond to the comment from the Owner, I will post it here.

The communication that was sent out stating that the closing was pushed from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm came in at 11:00 am that morning. By this time, the Sellers and my agent had already shown up at the closing. Let me add that the pre-closer called my agent and proceeded to yell at her on the phone so loud, that the Sellers could hear everything.

Did my closing on Friday and was told that the wire transfer funds will be in my account within 3 hours, and the wire transfer funds is not in the account as at 1pm Monday afternoon. Horrible way to conduct a business. I hope someone in the office will make it right.

We close with Merino and Associates at least once a week. Very thorough, responsive and professional!

We close with Merino and Associates regularly and have always had a wonderful experience! Dave and Brittany (the Attorneys) and the support staff (we mainly work with Lisa) are Fabulous!!

Terrible law firm Kaitlyn is a horrible receptionist and Taylor is completely clueless on how a transaction works. Does not reccomend.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. First this title company printed the wrong dates all of the closings documents....so I had to resign them all over again. Secondly I was told that I would recieve my money by wire at the end of the day...by Mr. Merino. I also expressed to Mr. Merino on how upset I was with the closing process and he assured me he would personally give me a call about the status of the wire by the end of day. HE NEVER CALLED BACK by the end of the day.....so I called the office and as you can guess the office was CLOSED!! This place is a joke and how can you expect to have a great staff with great communcation skills when the owner lacks those qualitys himself!!! Worst experience ever!!!

If you want a smooth closing on your house don’t use merino and associates!!! I recently purchased a home ..cash , which should have been a easy closing!! The staff at merino and associates are nothing short of incompetent! They failed to send documents, never returned phone calls and didn’t have closing papers ready for my real estate agent after she drove 2 hours to get them!!
Spoke to David merino himself and he basically blamed my work schedule for all the problems with our closing ... unbelievable!! Gross incompetence!

Horrible experience at closing!!!!. Wire funds were not recieved until 26 plus hours later. Everyone in the offfice had a job title no one seeemed to care that one of the team members dropped the ball. Total lack of problem solving skills. Nonchalant attitudes until pressure was applied to solve the issue.
