DO NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER! I had Elizabeth Kuhn as my attorney and her team helped me win my case with no sweat off our backs. She is expensive however I advise you save every penny to get her because she will do it right THE FIRST TIME! I had a cheaper attorney handle my case initially and messed it up to the point it ended up costing me severely in the end. If you go with Lizz, she'll do it right the first time so the investment is worth it. So here is what happened: I had a contempt action brought against me by my ex who is a superior manipulator. Also, I was up against a judge who dislikes me to the core due to his master skill. I was screwed. I went to a cobb county workshop to see if I could potentially represent myself and quickly found out that I shouldn't. They had a list of lawyer referrals and Lizz was on there. I met Lizz and outright she took charge in the consultation. You could tell just from speaking to her that she plays NO GAMES. I chose Lizz over everyone else because of her intimidating persona on top of her vast knowledge of the law. You do not want a passive lawyer who is going to go to court all scared especially if this is a highly contested situation. (I know from experience). She was quick, efficient, everything that she did and we were billed for was used and not wasted, she knew exactly what to do, when to do it, how to do it. In court, her confidence made me feel confident that we got this. The other attorney seemed pretty embarrassed with his client after Lizz got done. She had only about a week and a half to prepare but yet I. Won. My. Case. She saved my only baby from being ripped from me. (That is what my ex was asking for) and she saved me from potentially going to jail from a technicality in the court order. You need her on your case. I promise you. Spend the money, and save your family! Money comes and goes but your babies are all you have!

I've used this firm for several different reason(s) - divorce, child modification and now personal injury. Seems like a lot for one person but it's the cards I was dealt. Alex and Liz handled my divorce and modification. Alex has always handled things with care, heart and has always provided positive results with real expectations. He doesn't sugar coat reality so you have to understand this in his personality. If you need your hand held and need to be lied too all the time, you will not appreciate him or how he's trying to protect you in a court of law! Liz, is probably one of the toughest attorneys in our circuit. She is not someone you want on the opposite side of you in a courtroom. Those that take the time to get to know her understand that she is tough as nails because if you are her client, you become a part of her every thought and her life. My ex-husband was pulled over Friday April 14, 2017 for an accident that he caused, he was angry and intentionally went after another vehicle. Divorce is such a stressful and emotional time (especially when it lingers over 3 years) that I'm not sure that I would have much sanity now if I had not known that I could depend on Lizz and that she had my best interest at heart (not just making money). Lizz was the voice of reason and calm in an unreasonable and chaotic situation. She and the whole staff at Hait & Kuhn became to feel like friends and family to me. At this point I have had a very negative experience. I did an over the phone consult for an uncontested divorce. Everything was made to sound simple. I asked what to bring to fill out paperwork and was told a check for fees and a few financial documents. I came in very prepared. All information was given and fees were paid. I was told it would take about a week for paperwork to be completed for me to sign. Try 3 weeks!!!! Without a phone call from a representative at all. I had to call them to find out what was going on. Only to be treated like a nuciance because they had "other trials". My thoughts are...if you don't have the man power to do what I paid you to do, don't take on my case. At this point, my case has been filed but no court date scheduled. I've called and emailed several times and have been told that they haven't heard from the clerk of court. I called the court today (after nearly 6 weeks of run around). Come to find out, my attorney has to call and schedule and they have not taken the time to do so!!!! To this firm, you are a check and not a person. I have kids routines, job change, home sell and move all dependent on a phone call to schedule a court date and that's too much trouble. After all...they are working on a "big" case today!!

I was disappointed, however, with the way my appointment with Mr. Hait was conducted. Instead of giving me his undivided attention at a time of my life when I needed compassion and patience, he was multitasking to the point where I felt a bit neglected. People in and out of the office, taking phone calls and reminding everyone that he has only 20 minutes to be somewhere else.

I was recently injured in a motorcycle accident, and it was not a very good time in my life. Fortunately, all of the legal stuff was taken care of in a professional way by this law firm. They really made me feel like my case was in good hands, they communicated really well, and in the end, they got me great results that made the whole ordeal a little easier.

I wanted to give them 5 stars so badly. I REALLY liked Liz, and in all fairness, she DID get my husband to agree to an uncontested divorce, which is what I wanted, and what I thought the kids needed. She even got him to come in and work everything out in her office without another attorney or even a mediator. BUT, what was quoted as a $3500 divorce, turned into a $6000 divorce and the communication at this office STINKS. Liz is much quicker to respond to emails than any of them, I will say...but I'm not sure it was worth the money (that I do NOT have...and told them this on several occasions.) The problem is that now I am REALLY struggling when I should not have been because they did not communicate effectively, especially after I told them numerous times how I needed good communication. Sadly disappointed.

They started well with a lot of communication and attention but as time went by it seemed like their main priority was billing me and not moving my case forward. My last bill includes almost $8,000 for emails along (works out to $70 per email, regardless of the length).

Last communication from them was a nasty email threatening litigation if I wrote any negative reviews - curiously there was no "how can we resolve this?".
