I called expecting a professional response not having any knowledge when it comes to an eviction situation. My most important personal asset is my time. It was extremely helpful for me to continue working while Michael wrote, filed and served the appropriate paperwork In-Pro-Per (self represented).
Michael will tell you, for both sides, the end game for eviction court is settlement. The court system would rather you settle than to hold a trial. So keep in mind, before every trial, the other side will make a fair or bad offer. Michael can help you with some perspective here on negotiating even if you hate to negotiate. Remember, putting 19 of the 20 marbles in your pocket before negotiating a settlement is the key.

Hands down, this is the best value in Southern California for fighting or delaying eviction. End Eviction does not nickel and dime you like most of these services do. I always felt that they really cared about my case.

End Eviction did everything it promised me and more. Michael knows his stuff through and through. Everything he said about landlord intimidation techniques, effective counter strategies, and paperwork requirements was completely accurate. Sitting in the eviction courtroom hallway, I overheard many sad, angry, frightened tenants fighting an unfair fight against abusive and negligent landlords. I was lucky that Michael had briefed me on everything, and my trust in him was well-placed and was rewarded with a positive outcome. Nonprofit advocacy groups wanted thousands of dollars for services Michael provided for much less money. The nonprofit advocacy groups presented a likely outcome that was completely at odds with what Michael predicted. Michael was correct and affordable, BASTA was off-base and crazy expensive. Skip them, go straight to EndEviction. Seeing his ad pop up while Googling "eviction assistance" was one of the BEST things that happened to me in 2017.

Initially, the landlord lied about serving me. I was never served. The judge made him serve me again. Michael helped me prepare my case for trial. I didn’t know all the things that were really needed to prove my case. But Michael showed me. It worked out.
