Shady ppl when it comes to payment agreements

ZERO STARS!!Horrible attorney; her and her father are sharing the same practice and they are like a mafia. Vanessa Gnekow is a horrible attorney; who practically depends on her paralegals to write down her defenses which she entirely unaware of except right at the hearing day. Not to mention that she lost her temper on the judge on my case multiple times. Because she does not have the legal skills or defense knowledge; she rambles and get entirely frustrated. This has lead the judge on my case to dismiss my hearings multiple times. Vanessa lost my case Despite the other party being pro per. She has financially drained me and then overcharged me after paying up all her fees. This attorney needs anger management and I would not recommend her to anyone!

Do not recommend Vanessa Gnekow as a lawyer. The office does all the work while Vanessa comes to court unprepared and has a hard time controlling her anger causing the judge to dismiss one of the hearings due to her outbursts. This law office is very very expensive and will drain you for all you have even to the point of Vanessa attacking me for being a stay at home mother and saying I need to get a job to pay off my husbands lawyer fees. All Vanessa cares about is money and the second you complain about fees and they realize you don’t have over $30,000 to give them in attorney fees they will drop your case without warning. Going through court can be emotional and a hard time already don’t let this law office take advantage of you.

Vince is a fighter for your rights in the divorce courts is not afraid to rebuttal with the judge. I will forever refer my friends to need experts to Vince and his firm.

My husband and I hired Vanessa and we are returning thankful we did. My husband has been fighting for more time with his daughters for 5 years yet was always told by past attorneys "you need a chance in circumstances. " we wanted vacation time during breaks and Vanessa helped us get them. She was professional and a bulldog when needed (said with much respect). My husband had less than 17% of time with his 2 young daughters and Vanessa didn't give up on getting more time for my husband. My husband is an upstanding person and a great father. He doesn't have a history of any type of abuse; yet had to fight for more time. Vanessa and Mr. Garcia were able to demonstrate to the judge the alienation that was taking place and convey to the court how much my husband wants to be a part of his daughters lives. We left with more than we prayed for. God opened the door and Vanessa walked in ready and determined to get us more time. We are truly thankful. My husband was able to take his daughters to school on Monday for the 1st time in 5 years. Thank you so much for not giving up and seeing this through.

Mr. Garcia and Mrs. Gnekow were exceptional in their representation. They worked on my case which was difficult. Unfortunately, I was dealing with an ex-wife who had no interest in dealing or negotiating in good faith for what would be best for our children. My case has been on-going for nearly five years. Multiple RFO's filed through the years and endless litigation just to get small extensions of my visitation. The biggest issue is I had no legal or physical custody rights to my children. I was in a big deficit. I had a previous attorney that was good, but Mrs. Gnekow had big plans for me. She believed in my case and from day one believed she could help me get more than what I was even asking for. I had pretty much dropped the idea of joint legal custody because most people thought I needed a change of circumstance to make that happen. Not Mrs. Gnekow or Mr. Garcia. It took a few weeks to navigate through the stipulation and I knew my ex-wife would not go down without a fight, but in the end Mrs. Gnekow and Mr. Garcia got it done. I am a Christian and God brings people into your life for a reason. God brought me to this firm and their firm delivered beyond my expectations which is how God operates. He always exceeds your expectations as long as you have faith. Thank you again Mrs. Gnekow and Mr. Garcia and the rest of your firm.

Well, after reading the reviews, they pretty much explain itself. Vanessa Betryna Gnekow Bar #292304 has got to be one of the most unprofessional attorneys I have ever come across. If you want an emotional attorney who will say F* you to the other party in front of other court representatives and bring up her husband like he will pop around the corner to do something, then this is the law firm for you. I can think of no other way to lose a case quicker than that. Also, everyone knows court starts at 8 am she will show up 1030 the latest and to top it off she seems lost, unprepared skimming through her documents trying to catch up in front of the judge. It is impressive to watch. Honestly, I don't even think you can call this law firm with "associates". BUT Since Daddy foots the bill, I can see why she gets away with a lot of antics, when the situation was brought up to him sarcastic responses was all he had. It all makes sense now. I hope the Bar Association takes note because these people are a joke. As a Service member Vanessa, I don't need a new job. I am pretty content with the military career. I didn't have daddy ready to spoon-feed me when I got out of college. If anyone wants a law firm that is a genuine, professional, and honest look at the Grey Legal Group. They have swept the court room with this attorney time and time again.

Long story short it is bad when you have people working in the courts telling you to make a complaint to the Bar Association

I was going through a difficult custody case, probably a unique one too. I was at my wits end where all odds were against me. I've consulted with many attorneys and they seemed timid by my situation. When I consulted with Vanessa, she instantly was VERY optimistic about representing me in this uphill battle. Man, her and Mr. Garcia did not disappoint. They were very dedicated, kept in communication along the way and we're very informative. There was no sugar coating anything. They were honest about everything. I loved the fact that they were very professional when it came time to face the judge. They stayed prepared for every situation in case things didn't go as planned. This firm cost me more time and money then it should have. Divorce took two years and the other party was unrepresented. Went through 4 paralegals during my divorce process. The office prepared paperwork incorrectly THREE times, then charged to correct it and wasted more time.

I had to prompt them at every step. They initiated nothing but bills. I wouldn't recommend this office. My friend continues to ask me who did my divorce and I won't tell her.

If they go through that many paralegals in a 22 month period, the problem is internal.

When we finally get my divirce done, $17k later, (for a middle income divorce), he withdraws as my representation. Thank you for saving me the time of substituting someone in should any additional issues arise.
