After much consideration, my father and I have decided to file the appeal with another attorney regarding his case. We examined the case files and upon several conversations with other experienced lawyers; it was brought to our attention that several mistakes had been made during this process by Shan Potts and his team. We were very displeased to know that his lack of experience was one of many factors that resulted in the denial of my father's case. I can expressed many concerns and frustrations. The following being the lack of client customer care; this office has lacked for many years. As clients; the interaction between our attorney should have highly been the focus to establish trust and confidence in the ability of his work. Little to no strategies had been discussed for our cases; except towards the end or when a bill needed to be paid. How can an attorney be effective in his craft, if the dialogue between his clients is limited.
Among, missing documents not being filed correctly or mistakes being repeated; such lack of accountability is detrimental for people who have a lot at stake. Clients pay for representation that result in great customer service; even if an unlikely decision would have been given, at least as clients we can attest that everything was properly done by our attorney. The objective shouldn't just be a financial gain for the legal team that represents immigrants who are fighting for their lives, but upholding a reputation that demonstrates great work ethics and integrity.
I can argue through this journey with Shan Potts and his team, that is a quality that is lacked and should be revised to make better adjustments that can benefit himself, his staff and the future clients. After, so many years with this team, I can't recommend any future clients because the work is poorly done and the communication is even worse. So much money has been spent that included only a few checks but mainly cash; then seen your accountant emailing us statements that was inaccurate verses all the receipts we have for our records is a true insult to what this firm doesn't represent. We can not get a refund for excessive charges, unnecessary charges being given to us, but simply hope that with this criticism; the proper changes can be made to increase your client satisfaction

Worst attorney and staff, I have never received bad service as I received from a Law Firm before, worst ever. Attorney was never on same page as staff that was working on the case, had issues with them getting back to me via email and phone they will tell me one thing and a totally different scenario to client, “attorney and staff where Never Never on the same page” Filled out application wrong and did not had application ready, application was never reviewed by petitioner as office always told me he will meet with client at Adelanto Detention Center to review and sign, he presented and incomplete application en front of the judge right at court time, even judge mentioned he was not prepared very unprofessional and did not knew what the hell he was going with the clients case, immigration application signed with out been translated and was incomplete always in a rush, all the most important evidence to support the case where poorly submitted and some not even submit at all, office hold copies of records when I attempt to hire another attorney to take over the case, it was a time sensitive situation paperwork that had to be filed with the BIA and staff kept telling me they will send me copies they never did until after we missed the deadline, they kept holding copies, always answer questions in a rush, they only mail you or contacted for payments, one time they drafted an additional payment out of bank card with out my authorization, worst service ever, screw the whole case and they failed to give you clear steps and process, they are Not truly trustworthy Honest at all , they just took a big chunk of payment over $5,000 and a big full downpayment to start case and at the end I had to do all the research and calls, copies and clerical paperwork and contact BIA my self basically do all the work my self. Look for a better attorney services before you sign contract here, Due to my bad personal experience
