While I was brand new to the entertainment industry, I was looking for answers to legal questions I had. Naturally, I turned to both Google and YouTube. After searching through YouTube for awhile, I stumbled onto Gordon Firemark's channel where he answers both common and specific question's about the legal portion of the entertainment industry.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that most of the questions I had could easily be found here. A little more organization of the videos would be great but a Control+F got me the answers I needed. The videos didn't contain too much unnecessary jargon and when I left his channel (without subscribing) I felt far more empowered with the knowledge I had gained from his short 3 - 5 minute videos.
Later on I had more specific copyright questions and found out that he had answered it a few weeks back and I would have known had I simply hit the subscribe button. Lesson learned. Why do I say this? Because I'm lazy and would rather the info come to me without much effort. Anyways, I went ahead and bought a session with Gordon because he had already provided a ton of value before even meeting me so it was easy to give him money lol!
I made a short trip to Los Angeles visiting a few friends during spring break and Gordon agreed to have lunch with me while I was there. Folks, this man is sincere. Long story short, I found Gordon to be very inviting and down to earth. He knows his industry very well and is extremely professional without being a damned robot. I've kept in touch with him for the better part of a year and am only now getting around to leaving him a review.
Before you take my word on anything that I've said here, go see for yourself. He has podcasts, YouTube videos, and an easy to navigate website. In other words, he can show you the receipt's (walks the walks)! My closing words will be these... Try and find another entertainment lawyer big or small willing to do all the things he has and still be able to provide great value during a paid session all with a smile on his face.

I actually haven't rated Mr. Firemark as of yet, but believe me, I will. I judge by performance, in all areas, for example : in the way I am initially spoken to on the phone, or in person, helpfulness, and knowledge of cases that may be similar to mine, or just personality traits, like having a great sense of humor, etc. , but I will certainly give my 100% impressions of this mans expertise in his field career, and let everyone who wants to know , does this guy Gordon Firemark really gets you answers , and does he handle his business efficiently,Well , we will see !
