Mr. Rose served as my advisor during a Title IX investigation. I consulted several attorneys in and outside the Los Angeles County area, and found Mr. Rose to be the best attorney to advise me during the investigation.
There are a few reasons that made me choose Mr. Rose over other attorneys specializing in similar matters. The first reason is amount of comfort I derived just through my initial consultation with him. Mr. Rose has an extremely reassuring demeanor that has a calming effect on whoever he speaks with. His knowledge on matters regarding Title IX investigations is second to none. He has advised clients in most major colleges in California, and several across the country, and has professional relationships with a lot of the people who handle such matters at various colleges. His advice and instructions are clear and easy to follow. Having advised numerous clients involved in such sensitive matters, he is exceptionally caring and sympathetic towards his clients and understands what it feels like to be involved in such a stressful process. I have found him to always be reachable on text and email, and never have I been made to wait for his response on important matters whenever I have contacted him.
My case involved a lot of information – much more than the typical Title IX investigation. However, Mr. Rose always seemed to remember the details of the case - and provided specific advice regarding the finer details of the case that made it seem as though he working exclusively on it.
Having met with a number of different individual attorneys and law firms, I had a fair idea of what an attorney charged in such a matter. Not only did Mr. Rose price his services in an exceptionally fair manner – the total cost working with Mr. Rose for the course of the investigation was a fraction of what was quoted by other firms/individuals (just 5% of the price quoted by one in particular).
Ultimately, in my case, the investigation was resolved in the best possible manner – something that I wasn’t very confident about achieving going into the investigation.
Not only is Mr. Rose the best attorney in my opinion for cases regarding Title IX, I found him to be a great person and a true professional as well and would definitely contact him in case I need any assistance in the future.
I highly recommend Mr. Rose without any reservation. I would strongly encourage potential clients to give him a call for an initial consultation – it’ll be worth your time I promise.

Alec Rose turned out to be a true blessing in my life. I knew nothing about Title IX investigations. I doubt if any lawyer in America could have handled my case better than he did. He saved my job and my sanity. Thank you so much, Alec! I am forever grateful.

Alec Rose is a phenomenal worker. He works effectively and treats all of his clients with the utmost respect and understanding. I have no complaint. He stood with me every step of the way, and has continued to stay in touch with me until this day. 5 out of 5 stars seems like a mere limitation when describing Mr. Rose's efficiency and discipline. Mr. Rose gets to know his clients on a personal level and moves to business from there on; of course he remains a friend through the process and afterwards as well. He replies to emails, calls, and text messages in a timely manner, a trait that is hard to come by in most people working in the professional world. I only have words of praise for Alec Rose.

Alec was a perfect choice for my situation. I was confronted with what I felt was a legally spurious charge that had enormous implications for my job, up to and including termination. So I was extremely fraught and interviewed many possible advisors before settling on Alec. He was very rational, calm, and supportive throughout. He had an exceptional framework for approaching interviews and responding to questions, and I felt that he had a crystal ball and was able to anticipate things (including some "gotcha" tactics) that are commonly employed by interviewers. I felt extremely prepared and he was always imminently reachable. I can't recommend him highly enough. Stop reading and just give him a call.

I hired Alec Rose to help me with an issue regarding my job and being unfairly targeted toward dismissal. Alec Rose's website claimed that he got people back to work with this school district, and he was not afraid to stand up to administrators.

Although he knew that I wouldn't win my case as a probationary employee, he took my case anyway. Initially, I was not going to hire him as he was arrogant over the phone and threatened to hang up on me if I didn't let him continue speaking when a thought had occurred to me. But seeing that he supposedly had expertise in the area that I was looking for, I sought his help anyway.

I paid $3200 of a retainer fee for 8 hours of service. There were times when I called with questions, and I did not get my phone calls returned. Sometimes it appeared that he took my money and disappeared. When I asked him to look over my rebuttals, he only corrected grammar.

He made a mistake and confused me with another client who only paid for 6 hours of service. He was concerned we were going over time, and I reminded him that I paid for 8 hours. He stated then that we had more than enough time. We had a few phone calls lasting for a few minutes, and then I told him that he did not have to come to the final meeting.

I had the notion that I would receive some of my retainer back, but he stated not only was it used up, but I owed $600 more! Despite that his agreement stated that we had to agree on the negotiated price of $3200 and I was not told that we went "overtime."

Not only that, when I looked at his billing, and saw that he accidentally charged $40 for 1 minute, I asked him about it and he insisted that the billing was correct.

He really did not help me and I felt cheated that I wasted my money.

Also, at the disciplinary meetings, he said that his role was just to sit quietly and let me do the talking but only interrupt every now and then to talk outside to coach me. He didn't trust that I could represent myself well, but I did, and then he said that I did a good job. I felt like I was working harder than him on my case.

I have had the pleasure of working side by side with Alec. As an attorney myself I was impressed with his thoroughness in the manner in which her prepares. He is one of the smartest attorneys I have come across, and he sees things others don't. If I was ever in trouble, the one and only call I would make would be to Alec. You could not find a better attorney to help you in your time of need.

Alec Rose is, without exaggeration, the most effective and knowledgeable attorney that I have ever met. I have referred many people to Mr. Rose, after seeing his strong mastery of the law and procedure (particularly in very difficult cases involving alleged sexual misconduct in the Title IX university context) and how he uses that knowledge to his clients’ advantage with an astounding record of success. To watch Alec fights for his clients with his unmatched skills of legal analysis and strategy is inspiring, as he is so often able to achieve positive results for his clients in even the most difficult of cases. Whenever a client or even a close friend finds themselves in legal trouble, I always urge them to consider hiring Alec Rose. I have personally seen cases where Alec has taken what seems on it face like a possibly hopeless case involving a college student accused of misconduct and turn it around to prove that the accuser is lying and his client is blameless. In criminal cases, I have seen him establish the innocence of his clients in court and prove that the alleged victim is in fact the only guilty party. I couldn’t recommend Alec Rose more highly.

He will fight for you like you're part of his family. I can't recommend him highly enough — if you have any needs in the areas of criminal, education, or administrative law, call him right now!
