My experience with this company far exceeded my expectations. So glad I found them when I was searching for help with my tax problems. I was getting wages garnished, a lien was filed on my house. An it's agent showed up at my door step and I was told they were going to freeze my bank accounts. I made a call to tax group center and the notices stopped coming, they released the garnishment and it took a few months but my life is back to normal. Yeah I had to file some past returns but this company helped me get through the whole process. Now I just received the good news that I only owe $300 and I am debt free, all because I trusted this company. Don't deal with the irs yourself let these guys do it you won't regret it!

They dont even deserve one star. Horrible business, their receptionist were rude and very disrespectful. They didn't even give me the decency of understanding of why I was upset instead they want to be rude and tell me basically to suck it up and that it's not their problem is the vibe I got. Whenever I pay $13,000 for them to do my taxes and for their receptionist to treat me like I'm the scum of the Earth and that they are above me and that they are not trouble by my problems or they have no empathy for me, put complete disgust in my mouth I cannot believe I'm using these people and I will never use them once I am done with my taxes and I will tell everyone for the rest of my life how horrible these people are they like to take their time they don't even get back to you at a decent time to say hey this is where we are with your taxes only time they call is to supposedly email me some form that I still haven't received, worst place ever, do not use them I regret using them. I wish I would have stuck to my original CPA . At least my original CPA had the decency to call me and let me know where she was with my taxes. I have to call to get questions answered on where my taxes are I wish I would have read all these reviews first before I gave them my business because now I'm out $13,000 and still owe the IRS more money then I have paid them but last time I spoke to them was to pay off my its debt, but recieved a letter from the irs saying I owe more money, but they are supposed to be settling my taxes I have forked out more money to them then I have to my original CPA because they were supposed to be good I regret ever contacting them.

Being a truck driver I am on the road all year long. 6 years went by and before I knew it I was getting my checks garnished by the IRS and the state. I thought the whole" if you owe 10,000 to the IRS" thing was a scam but this company proved to be ligitamite. I just received an offer from the IRS and only had to pay 200! Had to file a 4 Year's in taxes , I am not at all organized but for the few years I had no info they were able to get that all together for me and made the whole process super easy. It took like 5 months to get the settlement but way worth it. If you need back taxes prepared and you have balances owed and noticed coming to your house you need to reach out to this company for help.

I spoke to a tax consultant named Lilly who told me they could stop the notices and take care of my issue. With in 2 weeks the notices stopped and a resolution to my problem was in the works. I have been in business for 10 years and thought I was going to lose my medical practice and Tax Group Center really saved the day. Sometimes you might have an accountant but you need an attorney to step in and in this case it is what I needed. I highly recommend this company. Dealing with Lilly and the Attorney on the case Stacey made the complicated process very easy to understand, they basically held my hand the whole way through it. I rarely leave reviews but I am so impressed with their professionalism and customer service I decided to leave them a 5 star review. They actually deserve 10 stars in my opinion. This company is a complete fraud and waste of your time and money. We hired them not only once.....but twice, and still got nothing accomplished. They will NOT return phone calls or emails. They wait until their year contract is up and than tell you there's nothing they can do....unless you pay for another contract. So now here it is, almost a second year contract is expiring and again nothing has been done except pay them more money. In the 2 years they did nothing but take our money, we paid off our $24,000 State tax debt through a garnishment they promised to have removed (which was never done). There has never been anything done to settle our Federal taxes either. PLEASE BE AWARE....this company is a fraud. They will deceive you with empty promises and lots of paperwork.

After researching tax relief companies for a few weeks I hired this group because of there great reviews. Working with them for several months and my experience had been great.

Do not give any money to these people. It is a total scam. I was told by them that they could reduce my back taxes to just a few thousand dollars for the 2 years I was behind and the current year. I owed around $20,000 not including the current year. They charged me $3000 and sent me a bunch of paperwork to fill out and send back to them. After that was all done they said they needed another $1750 to take care of the state taxes. Then a month later they needed another $3250 to take care of the current taxes.
Three months after that I got a letter from them saying they set me up on a payment program with the IRS and I owed the IRS a total of $33000. That is all they did. I could have done that myself with 1 phone call for free. they stole a total of $8000 from me.

TGC was one of the biggest mistakes I EVER could've made! I was actually referred to this company by a good friend who had used them some years back. All I can say is a lot must of changed since then. My wife and I paid TGC good money to help with some tax issues. We started with TGC Jan 2017 and absolutely NOTHING has been resolved since then. I have contacted the IRS on different occasions, since I could RARELY get a hold of anyone there, who had NOTHING on file about TGC sending in any updated taxes or simply contacting the IRS. The run around began as soon as TGC got their money. We faxed/emailed very important docs, tax info, and other important documents to TGC to help get our tax situation resolved. The very few times someone decided to take our call we kept hearing that Misha, who was suppose to be working our account, was out for a family emergency. After many unanswered calls and messages not returned, we finally received a call from Misha in August! Misha had no idea about what was going on with our file. We even had to resend all the highly private information that we had sent over months ago because they didn't have it on file. These docs consisted of bank statements, tax info, and very sensitive docs that could do damage to us in the wrong hands. I was shocked that there was no file of this at TGC. I basically had to brief her on everything that was suppose to happen with my account. Misha was the only person who would actually stay in contact with us. After working with her for a couple weeks, we found out she was in the resolution dept. and all she could do was put us on a payment plan with the IRS.(For the exact amount that we owed them) We were initially told they would settle our taxes for a less amount then what we owed. After Misha and I finally came to a resolution that a payment plan was NOT what I paid Tax Group Center for, she advised that she had to send our file to a different department. Misha advised that she had no idea TGC was going to refile our taxes. So the long wait for Misha was a lie and I guess they were expecting us to take a payment plan for the EXACT amount we owed the IRS. Now I'm working with a Kayla there who basically follows suite with everyone else at TGC who won't return any calls. I RESENT all of our records to Kayla/TGC for the third time back in August. I have called and left messages for her to call me back and have not heard anything till this day. At this time I would like a refund and to be DONE with TGC. We are seriously leaning towards speaking with an attorney. It's amazing Tax Group Center can do this to hard working people!

It's been 4 months from this review and nothing has been resolved with Tax Group Center. Ladd was working with me briefly on a refund offer that I declined. Now it seems like I can't get a callback when I leave messages. I paid TGC over 6k and they tried to offer me just over 2k as a refund. I can't justify allowing a company to keep 70% of HARD earned money when no resolution(s) were achieved. I will continue this long and hard journey with Tax Group Center and hopefully one day we can part ways respectfully and fairly.

This place is a scam. Paid them 1400 and was promised they could resolve my case within 6 months. Waited over a year and they did absolutely nothing except take my money.Trust me, the biggest joke of a company I've ever seen. Just wait until you try getting ahold of someone, ha ha, the joke will be on you. Not really a review person but am so impressed with tax group center I decided to leave one. The communication from the first moment of contact was very informative and comforting . Never during the process did I find myself worried or concerned. Any time I emailed or called I heard back from someone and the one time I had a customer service question I was immediately contacted. Turns out in the end I saved money in a few ways . First I got refunded for 3 years of tax returns and that reduced my tax debt by $10,000. Then they got me into one of the IRS special programs and reduced the rest of my balance to $100 !!! Unbelievable but true. This has been an incredible experience working with this company. I have always paid my taxes through payroll deductions. Just never filed my returns. Ever. Well after 40 years of not taking care of business I called the Tax Group Center. With less than perfect record keeping on my part they were able to get my tax problem solved. And the outcome was jaw dropping. Both Federal and State taxes in the end cost me $114.00.

I was in a bit of trouble with the IRS. With patients on their end, I was able to set up a payment plan and they took action. IRS said I own more than $3000, and the end result was only $156.00. I was with the tax prep department for a while before they actually were able to work on resolving my case. Got referred to TGC by a business acquaintance that had similar issues with IRS (incorrect filings and over-payments which had not been credited). The Tax Group fixed all of my IRS issues very quickly. I told them that I needed prompt attention and they jumped on my case right away. All accounting/taxes were brought up to date and I was credit the overpayment. I appreciate their honesty and would recommend them to others.

After my initial negative review, I was contacted by Lad from customer service and I can say he has made a legitimate effort to try to resolve my issues. We have come to a fair agreement on how to move forward and it is greatly appreciated. I will wait and see as to how things go in the future but a honest effort has been made and that's all anyone can ask for. I will upgrade my rating for now and see what the outcome is.

I moved over my business due to several concerns with another agency. TGC was very responsive and their staff is incredibly knowledgable.

I was getting very aggressive calls from my the previous tax agency and Mike and the team at TGC kept me calm and at ease. Comforted me that they’ll do their best to get my issues settled. I’m more than satisfied with their professionalism and work.
