This company is very dishonest they not only were bothering me with calls every day when they were trying to get my business but they kept my money.If you try to cancel right away they won't answer the my calls . I paid them with my credit card and ones the transaction went though they explained to me how they handle the ticket and it wasn't what they told me in the beginning so I tried to cancel the same day but the gave the round around for days , I tryed to get a hold of them but I never got any calls back , so I tried to dispute the transaction though my credit card , but at the end they kept my money with out doing any type of work , how can companies like this stay in business riping people off . It's too bad very few people post good reviews and so many angry people post bad ones. I checked this company out before I used it, and I knew I wasn't guaranteed to win my case. No one can completely guarantee you a positive result, but more than not, this company delivers and they delivered for me.I received a red light ticket in the mail, the result of a camera controlled intersection. I did what Ticket Busters told me to do, filled out a few brief forms, answered a few questions and waited.I got a letter from the courts on Saturday and the case has been dismissed and closed. Hey everyone, I got a speeding ticket where the officer said I was excessively speeding. I'm not a lucky guy, at least not most of the time. I knew I wasn't speeding and I didn't want to go in alone and fight the ticket. So i hired Ticket Bust.

These people were so nice and took time to tell me why I should trust them. They also throughout the process, was available whenever I had a question or concern. They were very easy to work with. I knew I had to pay up front but I also knew I wanted to give them a chance. My case got dismissed and I was issued a refund by the court very quickly. I think because it was a team effort, meaning, Ticket Bust gives you the opportunity to supply them with a testimony and evidence. I did both. Ticket bus wrote up the document and used my documents as support. My ticket was dismissed and the evidence provided in the documents won it. I knew I wasn't in the wrong, but because I got support through Ticket Bust, We won the case together.

I encourage you guys to have evidence if you truly wasn't in the wrong. Use them as support, do not ask them to do magic tricks. They work with law and if you clearly wasn't in the wrong, like in my case. Its worth the extra support for the win. I feel if I went in alone, with my document I would had lost badly. Used them twice. Got both tickets dismissed. Just tell them what occurred , they will send you everything ready to go. Instead of mailing your stuff in, take them to the court you have to appear in, go to the clerk and submit in person. Go a couple of days before the time limit is up to submit. Take your ticket with you, and each court has a time clock, so you can punch in the date and time you were there. This way, you prove that you were there. Papers get "lost" going to the court system if you don't have some type of proof. They would rather you be late and pay late fees and fines. The people at TicketBust are very friendly and professional. I don't understand the bad reviews. I have read them and noticed, a few steps were overlooked . Just follow directions and you should be good.

I've been trying to get a refund for the current fees I paid I know and it starts on the bottom line of the contract they won't refund you the entire money BUT YOU WILL GET SOME REFUND BACK
it's been over a month and I called 4 different reps and none of them haven been able to send merge request refund form and I still call them and I have them say the same thing over and over that they will send me the form however I still have a month waitinf to see even in my email even the junk trash unwanted email and nothing!! What's going on with these people I had to call the ticket clinic and they performed a job these guys were supposed to help me put in. Not gonna recommend anyone, WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

I got pulled over for going 70 in a 55. First ticket in over seven years of driving. Paid $270 for the ticket and $270 for ticket bust to "help me" fight the ticket. I lost the case and only get $70 back, so I lost an extra $200 for nothing.

They compile a case for you that they mail to you to mail to the courthouse. After that, they don't do anything. You wait for the response from the court and they don't communicate with the court for you. If you lose, they recommend requesting a second trial and going to court yourself. The reason I paid for this service in the first place is because the courthouse is over 130 miles away from me. So I'm SOL.

Terrible Experience. I paid $200 to pay $270. DO NOT RECOMMEND. BE WARY OF FAKE REVIEWS.

Worst ticket helping company! Not only did I lose my case and have to go to court multiple times but I got refused my refund so I ended up paying an extra 200+ dollars for no reason. Every document they offer is FREE and available online at the Orange County Courts for Trial by Written Declaration. - Be sure you get all the details on exactly what they charge, up front, what fees they keep, and what they refund if you LOSE your case. They should offer you the option to retry your case or (Not), that should be your right, according to item #2: "If your ticket is NOT dismissed you can request traffic school, if you are eligible, (OR) request a new trial (second chance to contest it)". - I lost my case, and they did refund my money, however I had to speak to management when I opted NOT to re-try my case.

They're not helpful at all! I ended up paying my full ticket , plus 270 for them to fight for my ticket which I ended up spending more than I had too ! Never do this again .

Ticket bust is great. They dismissed two tickets. I had no hassle they don't waist your time always, have live operators they guide you step by step throughout the whole process.

I have used Ticket Bust twice in the last few years for traffic tickets, one for a red light on a bus way and one for speeding. Both tickets were dismissed. On the bus way ticket I saved several hundred because the fine was so high. On the speeding I broke about even, but I have no points on my record and no traffic school hassles. Watch out as ticketkik are lawyers and the only people that win are lawyers!!! with your money!!!!Please read the fine print before you sign up!!! I signed up when this company that started a few years ago and talked highly about this company to all my friends, I have now experienced a company has grown and has set all these NEW rules and regulations to their contracts. I noticed that if you don't fill our an RR-1 form correctly they decline you, if your form, missing an item, signature past 10days and 20 days etc.. also if you loose they don't give you an option to get your refund from their company they try to push you to continue with the fight as long as they don't have to give the refund back as they stated, I received the letter from tickitkik declining my refund and I noticed they have 6 line items on their forms that are reasons why to decline your case or your refund!!!!!! They keep 110.00 for processing fees and refund you 79.00........I think its a rip off. I spoke with the representative she said that their contracts change and it used to be 10 days and now its 20 days for you to return paper work I had called and explained I was out of the country, and when I called they said NO PROBLEM, just send in the RR-1 form and I did, and sent me a letter with a declined for 79.00 refund!!!! waste of my time on their RR-1 forms and their process and procedures. I was NOT like this when I signed up a few years ago for the first time. I am very disappointed and I would recommend to do a little research and do your OWN WRITTEN DECLERATION as they put guidelines and procedures that change every day!!!!!! and you still loose your money with ticketkik!!

They did nothing for my ticket.
After they charged my card, they sent me some documents (which was a pre format documents, and just changed the date, name and ticket #) , which I signed those and sent to court and got guilty!!

Other firms (like ticket clinic) present the clients in court , but they did not, and I did not know it.

they cheated on me, because I thought they are going to court and present me, but they did not and judge fined me more in appeal without let me take the traffic school.

They did same to 2 of my friends too after me. So I sent this review to every one knows.

Search "Ticketbust busted" on Facebook and you will find the REAL reviews from REAL users. Btw, BBB already took them off the list because they received too many complaints. We all know it's not guaranteed that you got your ticket dismissed. It's about the shady refund policy they "claimed" and the way they advertise themselves. It's about service ethics.

READ THE FINE PRINT... They do not refund you the full money of service that you pay them. And there are things that you have to follow to get it back.
Don't be fool by them saying YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK IF YOU LOSE THE TICKET.

It always sounds too good to be true, Remember that. You still take the risk of losing the fight with the court at 100%. Do not, do not think that by getting them, it will reduce the chances of winning it.

I've used and fought 7 times total. I won 3 straight at first, and have lost the 4 tickets after.

They will get your money back if you lose the ticket, and still loses after you go to the court for trial. (If I am okay going to the trail, why do I even bother getting them to do the Trial of Declaration?)
You paid $249, in which $149 is the service fee.. If you do what they want (requirements), you get back only $100. They aren't the same as the traffic lawyers or some other types of lawyer that if you lose, you don't pay at all.

My daughter received an "unsafe lane change" ticket in San Luis Obispo when visiting a friend at college. Neither she nor her two friends in the car agreed that she did anything wrong. Used her turn signal and observed no adverse reaction from any other drivers. Didn't want to drive 4 hours to fight this in person. Decided to find a service that guided me through the process of fighting this ticket by mail. What drew me to this service was their purported success rate and their "money back guaranty". All they did was send me a bunch of forms that you can get off the internet and instructions on how to fill them out. I had to do all the work. Received notification that we lost the case on June 15th. I have been traveling on business for a good part of the month, so I waited until after the July 4th weekend to notify TicketKick that we lost. They sent me the refund form that says I need to notify them within 10 days of the court's ruling to get the refund. I'm sure it was in the small print of forms I received earlier on........but I feel like I was scammed. I don't recall them bringing this up when taking my money on the front end. I used their service......It didn't work. What's the point of having a 10 day timeline to make the claim for the return, other than to keep people's money. I would not recommend using this company to anyone. Find a more legitimate company that actually provides a service rather than passing on forms. They clearly created this fictitious 10 day deadline to weasle their way out of standing behind the money back guaranty.

Wow a Sleasy SCAM operation!! I did everything they said, this was my third time going to them, and even though I did lose this last time, I would keep using them, Except that after this latest episode they are trying to weasel out of not paying the LOUSY hundred bucks back! Save your money. I had a legit reason to get my ticket dismissed. I never heard a word from Ticket Bust. No way to know status, no information. I just got a notice from the court months later that I lost my case. That's it! Would not waste my money on this again.

I had a speeding ticket and only received a standard defense from ticketkick which was thrown out by the court upon first review ...if they even reviewed it.
I submitted the paper work for a partial refund which was refused by ticket kick .I explained that my mail goes to a POBox which is the reason that I was 6 days late .
I asked to speak to a Manager who flatly refused to take this fact into consideration.
You are better off hiring a traffic attorney who represents you in court for the same money or less.

Got my first ticket in nearly 3 years of driving, for entering the crosswalk at the same time as the crossing guard. Tried Ticketkick's "Trial by Written Declaration" against the advice of an attorney friend, who claimed it was a waste of money. Result: Guilty, with a fine of $285, plus $57 for traffic school, and $199 to Ticketkick. Was at least looking forward to my "guaranteed" partial refund of $79, but it's not that easy. You only have 14 days from the date of the judge's decision (regardless of when you receive it in the mail), to Ticketkick's RECEIPT of your refund request (snail mail only; no scanning or emailing). I calculated I had only about 4 days to process the packet of paperwork in order to make the deadline. Part of the packet consists of a copy of the original receipt for payment for their services, which they should certainly have on file and just contributed to the harassment of the process, since I couldn't immediately locate it. I was chastised by Steve at Ticketkick for "failing" to "abide" by their "strict terms and conditions" and told that I therefore did not qualify for a partial refund. I find that Ticketkick was a complete waste of my money, in addition to my time, and won't be using them again.

First, I would like to clarify that the reason I complain isn't because I was found guilty, but rather because I was very erroneously informed by Ticket Bust and when I gave them a chance to resolve, they didn't do anything.
I have had a ticket for having a cell phone in my hands while in my car (although I wasn't driving). I felt it was unfair and was concerned about getting 1 point on my driving licence, so and looked online who could help me fight it. I found Ticket Bust, called them, explained my case. They stated it was very common. I then asked if I could apply to traffic school in case I was found guilty to avoid any point, and they said yes. I even went through my files to check my latest traffic school date and provided it over the phone to confirm I would be eligible.
I however found out that:
1) Phone tickets aren't affecting the points on your record.
2) Traffic school isn't an option for such tickets.

I surely would never have paid $100 to fight a $162 ticket if it wasn't to avoid 1 point! Had I been properly informed, I wouldn't have requested their services.
When I called and asked for a supervisor, she claimed they wouldn't remember and it was probably a miscommunication. That although there are no points, the ticket does appear on your record and it is worth fighting for this. I then asked again if I could apply for Traffic school for my ticket and she responded yes, but that may depend on the court to grant it.
She then called me back a few minutes later to inform me that NO, I couldn't apply for Traffic School for my type of ticket.

So at the end of the day:
1) They aren't specialist
2) They didn't recognize their mistake
3) They denied any refund to compensate for their wrong and misleading information.
4) I was found guilty so I ended uo having to pay $162 fine + $100 Ticket Buster. This made my day!

Bottom line, waste of time, and waste of money. I would have done a better job fighting the ticket myself if I had decided to, but probably wouldn't even have fought it in the first place!!!

They used to be great many years ago. Now they are falling apart. You can write yourself the trial by declaration and it will be much better. I ended paying the ticket as guilty, and no money refund unless I re- submit and lose half a day to go to court, or else no money back. Even if it happens you get 100 bucks only out of the 249 you paid them.

I had my $490 camera ticket dismissed using TicketKick's defense. I hopefully won't have to go through that again, but if I do, I know where to go for help.

Ticketbust was not able to get my bail amount reduced and there fore no longer could help me unless I had $490. for bail for the court, knowing I only have a limited social security per month and did not make any further attempt to reason with the court on my behalf which I paid them to do. Now they cannot help me continue since I dont have the money and they refuse to refund any money back to me due to fact I could not complete my business with them. Sounds like they like a rip off to me. I would recommend going to court and or getting a lawyer to represent you. probably cheaper too. They were very disingenuous. I would not recommend them at all

Don't waste your money. Inept and dishonest. They lost the initial trial and when I called back for further instructions, Jessica from Ticketbust told me that they'd file a trial de novo. I specifically asked what I needed to do for this to happen and she said nothing else and to just wait. Two weeks later I called for an update and Ruby at Ticketbust said they did not file the trial de novo and that I missed the deadline. I asked for my money back since they made the mistake and this was forwarded to their supervisor Nicole Presutto who failed to call back for nearly a month. In the end I called back again for an update and she denied any responsibility and refused refund. They're thieves. Beware of the stars most likely employees posing as customers. Check Yelp for more reviews. Get a lawyer instead.

A few months back, I was "gifted" with traffic ticket in southern California. I didn't think it was appropriate, but the officer certainly did. Chose to make a case in my favor. Called TicketBust and told them what happened. They sent me a handful of forms to sign and send back. They did the rest. In less than a few days my Written Declaration was done and sent off to the court. About two months later I received the verdict: Case dismissed. Bail money returned. Well done. TicketBust is right. I am 0/2 with them as I lost both cases as they give you OLD outdated information to file with the courts so you can't possibly win your case. They give you NO HELP at all. They don't file your papers on time so the Judge won't even look at it. Be AWARE, your papers must reach the Judge 14 DAYS BEFORE your court due date. If you don't follow the contract that you sign you will NOT get a refund. I was unable to come up with the bail money so they had me submit a BAIL WAIVER which in there eyes kills any chance of a refund. They never pointed that out. They just said OH YEAH, NO PROBLEM. That way, if you lose they keep it anyway. You have a better chance of winning either if you do it on your own... OR.. You get a Lawyer. DO NOT CALL THEM under any circumstances. I promise, you will lose.

They did as advertised and my speeding ticket was dismissed. The court reimbursed me and no points on my record, YAY! I had my doubts but now I will use them again if needed.

These guys are the best! I got a red light camera ticket in the City of Murrieta back in June of 2012. I got extensions from the court to later in the fall. I was within just a few weeks of having to go to court when I heard about TicketKick. I called them and they said not to worry, just fax them the ticket and one or two other documents and they would prepare my paperwork for trial by declaration. They quickly prepared the paperwork and per their instruction I signed it and mailed it registered mail to the court. Just recently I got a letter back from the court with a full dismissal, refunding my $490 fine and noting that there would be nothing on my record. Had I been found not-guilty, I understand the violation would have shown up on my record, even though I would have been found not-guilty. But with a full dismissal, that is the best you can achieve, absolutely NOTHING shows on your record, and certainly no points.

I owe it all to the great folks at TicketKick who were there whenever I needed them and who patiently explained how the process would work and exactly what I needed to do to make sure no steps were missed in the process that could have been used against me. They are NOT lawyers, but they are damned good paralegals and I believe their success record on red light cameras may be higher than the 70% they are quoting for overall ticket cases.

I haven't had to deal with getting a refund from them - they earned every penny as far as I'm concerned. It looks like the new management is working on getting the refund issues clarified and sped up so I wouldn't take the comments from folks who were dealing with the prior management (before October 2012) to be representative of what is happening now.

Before I begin, let me start by saying, I've represented myself in court to fight tickets. It's a process that not everyone can do simply because some can't overcome their fear of public speaking. I've done it though I didn't feel as comfortable as I would have liked and definitely not as comfortable as the officers rattling off their rehearsed speech they've done a hundred times before. Needless to say, I lost a couple of cases and one once but in general felt good in having said my piece.
Considering this, I opted to try this service (saw mention of this service on the I10 billboard). It read "We'll get you off" and shows a cop writing a ticket. as they offer trial by declaration services and a guarantee of dismissal or part of my money refunded. First and foremost, these guys are more slippery than B of A reps trying to get out of renegotiating underwater home loans. No joke. Any loophole they can exploit to get out of paying, they will and are not shy in saying "Ha, gotcha".
Anyway, more on that later. In general, here's what to expect. You'll be asked for the 249$ payment and a brief description of what happened, date, time, any pertinent facts, etc and then you wait. In my case, I was fighting a speeding ticket and arguing that traffic was too heavy for an accurate Laser reading. Ticketbust reps state "this is cut and dry, no problem". What I misinterpreted as over confident is actually their trained response in my opinion. So no matter what you say, ". . .I was standing over a dead body with a bloody knife in my hand. . ." you'll get the same response.
Anyway, you wait. If you're lucky (and here's all these guys are counting on) the officer will not show up for court because he's too busy or he actually has a weak case". If not, expect to lose because you don't even get to review what they've prepared and I'm sure reads very generic.
If you lose, the court will send you a letter in the mail stating you lost. Once received, if you don't give this letter to Ticketbust within 10 days from it being sent (not once you receive), they'll not honor your guarantee. This is tricky and shady in my opinion.
Long story short, misleading communication to get your money, poor prep once their service is engaged, and shady techniques to not honor the guarantee. And by the way, I did go to my retrial and argue my case. I didn't win but gave them hell. As the boobie prize, Ticketbust gave me a coupon for my next ticket (yeah right, went right in the trash).

I can't believe how easy it was for me to get rid of 2 speeding tickets by hiring ticketbust. They both were dismissed and I got my fines back.

This is a dishonest company. I signed up with the company to fight a red light ticket. We lost the case and when I asked them to refund the $100 fee according to their money back guarantee, they wouldn't take the documents from the court and would not refund the money. The staff and the supervisor Nicloe suddenly became total liars. They claim that I didn't fight the case in court. I referred them to the court doc and court memo that I provided them but they became total liars. To defraud me of $100, they don't mind all becoming liars which shows their value and intergrity. I would never use that company again and adivse people to stay away as well.

Exactly as described. Worth every penny. They did all the work and got my ticket dismissed.

i paid them. they applied for a trial by declaration which is their specialty is. they failed. so the case got reset and i had to go in front of the judge. so i had to pay them AND spend time to go to the judge.

this is something you can do yourself and not pay someone else to do nothing.
